Re: Terra Nova
Based on all the articles I've read about just how many problems the show has hit and it hasn't even aired yet doesn't give me much hope for it. I also heard they spent 20million on the pilot which sounds wrong for so many reasons. It's got all the making of being a colossal failure...but it's Fox so maybe I'm wrong. It's not like their prown to airing episodes out of order and canceling good shows while leaving horrible ones still on the air.

Re: Terra Nova
The promo's OK but I see one problem already - no one recognizable in the cast... I only recognize the dude from Avatar. Could be a problem with the viewers watching shows mostly for good actors, not storylines, action or drama.

Re: Terra Nova
Actually looking at the TV.COM synopsis for Terra Nova, it sounds exactly like Lost In Space, but for time travel rather than space... Earth with squandered natural resources - check Father with issues - check His doctor wife - check Their two children - check Military SPAM person - check Wow, can they not think of original stories?

Re: Terra Nova
I agree completely. The fact that it's produced by Spielberg doesn't mean anything nowadays. The special effects looked bad in the promo and the story doesn't make me want to tune in ...

Re: Terra Nova
Fox Delays Terra Nova Until Fall ! Pilot (as you can see in the last promo ) was supposed to air in may , but because the producing team needs more time to work on the show's elaborate visual effects, the preview has been pulled and the series will now premiere in the fall.

Re: Terra Nova
Smart decision since in the summer of 2010 only new cable shows have succeeded and if I remember correctly Rookie Blue from ABC was the only exception.

They were going to do what they did with Glee and only air 1 episode in May and the rest come fall

Wait, please don't say they go back in time (85 million years) on Earth to start a fresh?!

well it could be a big fail and it could be very nice - I won't judge until it will air and I'll see for myself

Well it'll be a good show if they can find a way not to rewrite history.

Re: Terra Nova
Geez, all those people seem like they've been put into the fake background without even making any efforts for the poster to look nice. Heck, many 5$ budget sci-fi films have better posters.

Re: Terra Nova
i'm guessing Terra Nova will be a brilliant scifi show and it will be cancelled before the end of first season... basic fox formula for good shows...

Re: Terra Nova
I'm guessing, that Terra Nova will be an average sci-fi show at most, but probably just bad. I mean, yes, I shouldn't judge the show by it's poster, but come on, what a piece of shit.
