Re: Breakout Kings
Was looking forward to this one. I think the pilot was kind of rushed, with too much info stuffed in one single episode. There was some bad acting throughout the episode too. But it has potential, and I will check it out again next week.

Re: Breakout Kings
The premiere of A&E’s drama Breakout Kings averaged 2.8 million viewers and 1.5 million adults 18-49 (a 1.1 rating) in preliminary numbers, breaking the previous 18-49 highs set by ‘The Glades’ and ‘The Cleaner’ (1.3 million adults 18-49). It was also better than the 1.4 million adults 18-49 for the premiere of USA’s Fairly Legal.

Re: Breakout Kings
I liked the pilot, but why would they introduce Philomena's character played by Nicole Steinwedell if she won't star in the series? Or maybe she was supposed to play Serinda Swan's role in the first place?

Re: Breakout Kings
Yeah she was supposed to star when they presented the pilot to FOX , but since A&E ended up with it they recast the role.

Re: Breakout Kings
Hm, it's a shame, because I like Nicole from her appearances in The Unit. Are they even going to make a proper replacement or is he going to vanish in the second episode?

Re: Breakout Kings
Wow, recasting after a show is given the green light for a season order, THAT NEVER HAPPENS. Who else also thinks that the opening credits are bad?

Re: Breakout Kings
but usually when u recast a role u reshoot the pilot atleast that's what they did with "one tree hill" and "reaper"

That's true, but think about it, now they have a good plot for an episode in which she will escape.

Re: Breakout Kings
I liked the storyline for the second episode... especially the fact that it seemed they could show more brutal scenes than on national television. As for Erica, she is annoying and I don't like her, but she has a chance of becoming a likeable character if the screenwriters will allow it to happen.
