To those who still watch, is this actually funny still? I gave up on it at the end of season five or six...whenever Howard was getting married. Show was funny to me in the first few seasons, but Amy and Bernadette brought the show down plus recycled storylines.

I still find it entertaining. Admittedly though, as far as sitcoms go, I'm not that hard to please.

I find it hard to make the final decision to drop a show if I have watched it for ... what now - 7 years?

There has to be like 2 or 3 really bad episodes in a row for me to do that.

Yeah, of course it depends on how much you're attached to the show. smile I had no problems dropping HIMYM and TBBT a few years ago, but on the other hand I gave Scrubs several chances in its horrible final season.

Same here, i'm very easy to please when it comes to comedy shows.
I don't particular have to laugh often but i either like the cast or am atleast entertained enough to continue.

TBBT is easy to produce and has a solid fan base, as a sitcom the most difficult part is to make sure it is still funny but Chuck Lorre makes a very good job with this.
If a concept works, it's most wisely to continue it. And for another example, take a look at The Simpsons wink

Five years later after that three year deal, its still killing in the ratings.   Looks like CBS made the right choice.

It's still funny in a non LOL kind of way, just gives you a gentle grin every so often. And it also has its moments. The extra couples direction does make it a bit dull on some fronts but the females only scenes gives a nod to the female viewers with some jokes we can relate to, I think that's what they're going for there.

I'm rewatching first and second season right now , this show was so witty and funny... not anymore , can't watch latest episodes , just boring.
