Topic: Lights Out
Just great. FX’s gritty new boxing drama may sound a bit familiar: Holt McCallany (”CSI: Miami”) stars as former heavyweight champ Patrick “Lights” Leary, who’s having trouble adjusting to life outside the ring after retiring. But “Lights Out” sets itself apart with an unflinching look at the tough choices an athlete has to make after his body gives out on him 
Re: Lights Outare the writers/producers seriously that out of ideas that they start producing shows like those? i'm quite sure Rocky covered that area quite well in the 70's and 80's

While I didn't stop watching (or yawned) during the episode, I completely agree. I was very disinterested and only the double-flashback at the end stood out and made me want to tune in next week. Re: Lights OutI would like to thank this show for showing me how a hard sport is boxing and now I will never say that it is "just two guys throwing punches mindlessly". I was on th edge of my seat during the final match, and I never did that for any sport event. Never ever, until now. Goodbye Lights, it was good to know you.

The series finally reminded me of Mike Tyson's punch out just a little bit. ▼Spoiler Overall I hate how they cancelled this show, cause it is hands down my favorite series this season.
