Re: Top Gear
Really? I didn't think it was as good as previous specials. Had its moments but I thought it was rather dull tbh
Re: Top Gear
well i laughed my arse off...
Re: Top Gear
Awesome ep... and what a bombshell
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.
Re: Top Gear
Great episode last time, a Claas with a flamethrower, awesome.
And my god Amber Heard is beautiful.
Re: Top Gear
I was surprised by how much I liked Amber Heard. She is dumb as a bag of rocks, but man can she sell the "hot bi-sexual muscle-car enthusiast." I really liked her, even though she isn't my type.
Re: Top Gear
Three Wise Men Special was bloody brilliant
What episode is that?

Re: Top Gear
hilarious episode. very entertaining Alice was a good guest...
Re: Top Gear
I agree, the Marauder bit was some of the best stuff they did test-wise since "Which car is best for a 17-year old?" But a clear highlight for me was the skeleton vs. rallye Mini race. Amy Williams was hot and very cute, the camera work was impeccable, and the combination of The Dark Knight and Tron: Legacy score was a stroke of genius. What a fantastic sequence!
Also the camera work is way beyond anything about carshows.
Not just car shows. Most movies cannot compete with their camera work. Top Gear is car porn, pure and simple, but it's also a giant lecture on what perfect camera work looks like. I bet aspiring directors of photography and camera are studying Top Gear episodes.
Re: Top Gear
Yeah really nice job from the editing crew, although there have been funnier episode, there were some really good scenes like the skeleton race

Re: Top Gear
the thing about top gear is that they know what other car shows seem to forget: people who like cars get their technical info from magazines or the internet, a TV show must be about driving impressions, sensations, enthusiasm and fun. Also, the way they blend narration with commentaries is a lesson in TV journalistic scriptwritting. I used the same technique in a fashion show here in Brazil and it blew the executive's minds of.
Re: Top Gear
amazing ep again. absolutely fantastic ending
a race around the Monaco Grand Prix circuit on actual GP weekend
Re: Top Gear
Again a nice show. The hot-hatches they picked are really a good match-up, all three have about the same amount of "x-factor thingies" but none is the overall winner. The Citroen is clearly the fastest in a straight line but Jeremy seemed to be all over the track with it. The Clio has the best handling but the 2.0 N/A just can't keep up. The Fiat 500(C) seems to be in the wrong section. It's a car that has horsepower, it has flashy things on it but it's so f-ugly. You need to be called Barbie to drive one, I think.

I hate the fiat 500 , it is f-ugly...
FYI the Fiat looks brilliant... even Micheal Schumacher has one as a everyday car...
