Funny how The Tudors ended and now magically Showtime has another historical drama.

Re: The Borgias
when i read about O-Man's exitement of this show i somehow remembered this story. Clifford D.Simak - They Walked Like Men (1962). its a story about aliens buying everything on earth in return to get odour (they got high/exited when they were inside a smell they liked). whenever O-man hears of a new drama series he immediately shouts out and cries of joy because he can see/watch someone elses sorryass life. i though i'd mention it

Heh, nice to see I'm not the only one who thought of Ezio (or like we call him in Poland - Edzio) when watching this trailer. Not a fan of historical drama myself, but maybe I'll take a look, because I like Jeremy Irons as an actor.

Re: The Borgias
Kinda hard to forget when youve played all ACs. tbh expected more from the multiplayer dno controls are disappointing.

#3rdsnowleopard 24 minutes ago That's not how it happened. The Borgia were all killed by Ezio Auditore and his Brotherhood of Assassins. If you're going to make a show about history, at least do it right. :-D

Re: The Borgias
ok just finished watching it. mixed feelings here. it was too long, so it became boring at some parts. but it's just me. haven't read the history lately don't know how exact it was, but i was really really annoyed by the blond chick. at that time women knew their place (no offence to any women), but it was it. she was too outspoken hence became annoying. i understand it's a drama series, but imo there was not too much drama on that sence. but i will give it more, so lets see how they play it. one thing i did not really understand was
▼Spoiler Where did the loyalties of the assassin stand? he was killing to the both parts, but i did not really get who he was serving?

Re: The Borgias
When to compare it with Tudors then the women in Tudors were much less annoying.

Re: The Borgias
I see that ASAP just released a scene version. And I see that this is not just the pilot, but the first two episodes (The Poisoned Chalice and The Assassin), which explains the length. /hm, or not/

Re: The Borgias
when i saw it too i though the same thing. 1:37 is way too long for a pilot.

Isn't the true recreation of historical events what really maters in this show?

So you think that the Borgias depict true history?

Re: The Borgias
Since two episodes premiered on Showtime yeserday, I'm returning to my previous thought that the first two episodes were released as one because of the lack of 'episode two' on the internets.
