▼Spoiler why not cut the pipe?...and if they don't have a trail of blood drips to follow, I'm gonna be disappointed. Actually, it reminded me of the guy in Prison Break who lost his hand...so dumb other than that, it was a fairly predictable episode that was sort of boring. i know the whole character drama is the meat of it all, but that didn't seem to be done all that well this ep., and there was much potential for action. Maybe the character drama seemed weak because it was mostly focused on the weaker characters that have less depth to explore... -Rob

▼Spoiler well, it would've been easier to cut the chain than the pipe. looked like a really good ironsaw (and i need one of those btw) good ep tho. liked the redneck brother with the crossbow  (i need to get one of those as well)

▼Spoiler and i didn`t understand why he didn`t simple cut the chain of the handcufs, if you look closly there aren`t even marks that he atleast tryed to cut the chain anyway i kinda liked the episode.... first two where better but this one had finaly some more focus on the characters it self

well he was supposed to be some smartass sheriff. he knew his wife was alive by looking at their house.
it is normal that seeing her wife he should immediately know that his wife is a slutty whore.

▼Spoiler Regarding the last scene, walkers were at the door, so he must have figured that he did not have much time left. Cutting flesh and bone must have seemed faster than cutting metal. well this is stupid. has anyone ever tried to cut their hand off? the pain is immense (i haven't but there was once an accident pretty close to that one with me). you may be able to cut flesh without fainting. but when you try to cut the bone even the toughest dudes will faint. so there is no question here about how fast you can cut thru flesh and bone vs chain. this is just simply stupid. and anyway there was no blood anywhere anyway.

There was, but not much. You saw a black oozey strip running along the hand. But yes, although many times portrayed in different movies, I don't see a normal man sawing trough his limbs. Then again, his situation was pretty dire: no way to kill yourself and dying zombiestyle isn't anyone's favorite way to go. I'd probably cut my wrists.
