it might be due the fact that it is a soap ratter than scifi 
hopefully it will be renewed in 2011 but never seen this happen except with Weeds

Caprica is done for the time being 
The remaining 5 episodes of season 1.5 will either be aired sometime in 2011 or go straight to DVD maybe even later
