Re: Eastbound & Down
In the latest episode (s02e05) at the end there was a cover of "Heard it through the grapevine" - anyone know what band it was?

You can also use "Tunatic", free download for PC. Or TrackID on ericsson mobile phones. Or maybe google.

Re: Eastbound & Down
HomerS: thanks Slits it was - rlly liked the cover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQxvo_9DEqY
shabby: Thanks for the tip on Tunatic I'll be sure to check it out (and yeah, I did try to Google it without much luck I might add)
Edit: reading the comments on the youtube link above and doing a new google search its obvious that the google-results are somewhat different today than right after I watched the episode
Re: Eastbound & Down
As stated in the first post, Kenny Powers, a former baseball pitcher, is one of the biggest assholes of TV, which I consider as a personification of every vice's of an american citizen, of everyone one of us really. The humor is not typical, so either you like it or hate it. Since it has short season, S01 can go in a day.
Re: Eastbound & Down
Best quote form show: I'm in, you're fucking out!
Re: Eastbound & Down
Yeah but I got Criminal Minds and The Glades right now . I'll just try 1 episode tomorrow and see what's what . Thanks
Watched it yet?
I watched all episodes at once, couldn't stop. I don't usually fall for strong language in tv shows but in this case it really fits. I had Kenny's voice in my head days after I finished watching.
Re: Eastbound & Down
Eastbound & Down‘s third season will premiere Feb. 19 on HBO.
