@santah, a minor colour issue with the dark theme.  The track/episodes page has "No episodes left to watch" in black text, no matter the theme.

DRM "manages access" in the same way that Prison "manages freedom".

I'm wondering because I looked and didn't see this feature. Is there a way to filter out channels or shows that would be outside of your Country or region?

When I'm searching for upcoming shows, I get a lot of results for things I cannot watch because it's Region specific, like some things featured on Canadian stations or the BBC. I have looked through the filters and I just don't see a way to fix this.

I'd like to see a feature that allows us to do this properly. I'd like to just filter out things I cannot see outside of my country. But to make this work you cannot just filter something Korean for example, that is on Netflix, if it would be available to a person on a service in their region. If I can click on Netflix and bring up this Korean show, then it should be listed.

This gives people the ability to get rid of things they will never be able to or willing to go through hoops to watch, so that the filter brings up a lot more of the things that you might want to go through.

It became annoying after going through nine pages of Upcoming shows when at least a third of more, there is just no easy way to watch because they might be BBC or ITVW, or CTV.

If I'm wrong, I stand corrected. But I'm really having trouble finding these features. I could use some help.

Unfortunately we cannot do this for now (we don't have the data needed to filter out the shows in such a way).

That is disappointing. If you asked people for their region, it doesn't seem like it would be difficult. How unfortunate.

You do know about the language filter though? It might not be as specific as you described but you can either filter all non-english shows or choose the languages you want content visible for you.

You can find it under Settings > sitewide > "Select language to ignore"

To be fair, by using https://next-episode.net/settings?action=general you can at least reduce what you see by A LOT. smile

And for me, personally, I rather use the "Discover Other Great Shows" feature than (try) to look at every upcoming show. The great shows all seem to show up there - or in the forums. smile

Hi,

Any chance of a new option for episode name formatting on "Today's TV Episodes"?

I'd like the option to remove the hyphen between the series name and the episode number,

e.g.
Bad Monkey - S01E08 - The Russian Mob Is Very Active in Key West
becomes
Bad Monkey S01E08 - The Russian Mob Is Very Active in Key West

Or (possibly even better) add a "copy" button at the end which copies just the show name and episode number to the clipboard (in the user's preferred format).

Perhaps the hyphen could just be dropped in simplified view.
