The Simpsons

I was wondering if anyone else have notices that the past half a season of the Simpsons has been really great! The jokes have been awesome and I've been laughing my ass of to every episode.
I remember like a year back, I was really bored with this show... but now! big_smile

I actually did notice a couple of good episodes. but on the whole I am still not overly impressed with it. But I agree with the show KNOCKIN' IT UP ANOTHER NOTCH in the last  season.

I still watch the simpsons and still like it, i agree this season has been pretty good so far.

I dig animated comedy series anyway atleast family guy, simpsons, american dad, futurama, south park and i'm gonna check out the new fox show Bob’s Burgers too.

I dident like the cleveland show at the beginning but it did get a bit better tho.

Lisa has always been "meh", just like Meg in Family Guy. I have rarely watched an episode after season 10 because the series wen't so creatively handicapped on itself, it wasn't funny. Suddenly, jokes could involve characters being mutilated like Itchy & Scratchy, followed by them being perfectly alright the next second. But the show is still preachy as an old lady ! Most episodes even seem repeats of preaches already done in the past. The jokes also are too far-fetched for my liking.

This is my opinion ofcourse, I hope they someday turn around as I haven't watched more than 5 episodes since season 10.

The first story could've been better, I was hoping they would do a spoof of Jumanji in a way that they would be sucked into the game. Oh well.

The second story was better, maybe because of Hugh Laurie smile And the evil smirk in the end big_smile

The third story was a spoof of Twilight. And making fun of Twilight is always good. So it's good.
