Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
or with the sentinal when it absorbs the guys body to make it work, maybe it will give them control of the ship.

Or! maybe the guy who sat in the chair turns into a hologram, like in that old space-tihngy-series.. andromedia or something, And yes, they should gain control over the ship with that guy helping by controling etc.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
That's what bothered you?? the part where the 3 stooges return to the ship with no explanation and with no plot is ok?? they just dialed the SG and they're back - that is not how it's done is SG...
About the dude in the chair , how did he became a walking zombie , that was also unclear.
I believe he was teleported inside the ship's core or something to be assimilated into it (like Borgs in star trek )
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
gotta agree, them just coming back like that even though they were aparently out of range, i swear they said that in the last ep

I have to agree, I was so disappointed at that moment - it was like the whole last episode didn't even happened.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
Why couldn't the 3 stooges just hijack an alien ship and return on that ship
But I like the hologram idea ^^
Yet he might have ascended because he sacrificed himself (twice)?

He sat in the chair before.. and his brain got fried.. Took me some digging to remember that. It was a few eps ago. Also with the repair-bot, couldn't remember they even found that thing.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
I can't remember did the chair let him go, or did they pull him out?
I reckon, if they pulled him out the transfer wasn't complete, and it now is.
Otherwise, if the chair let him go, maybe it realised it damaged his brain so it let him go before it killed him. Maybe he then realised what he needed to do to keep the ship safe?

from "that was our last shot of getting back to Destiny and we missed it" to "hey guys,s'up" gotta love it."nothing ventured, nothing gained"
i bet you the guy in the chair is going to come back, outa nowhere, and he's going to be fine....in next weeks ep they'll be something like "oh you're back from a cloud of waper" and he'll be like "yeah...d'aaah.stupid crew..."

And he'dd be all like "yeah me and destiny had a few beers and did some things i'dd rather not talk about.. anyways this is how you fly the ship .. *long explanation* "
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
It was a strange episode
The lesbian Stephen Hawking was weird but ok
The whole telepathic stones are weird (but inherited from SG-1). What's the point of being completely alone on Destinny in galaxy far far away when you can have a 'normal' relationship at home on earth?
The 3 Stooges just dialing in was NOT ok - that could've been a whole story ark - boo!
The aliens sabotaging the ship was also not ok. They could've done somesthing more sophisticated.
The arrival of the alien ships and the small space battle was lame.
The guy in the chair was way too creapy, why freeze him and get him vanished. Ascending even sounds lame. I see no useful outcome except getting control over the ship. It's still bad solution.
IMHO the writers lost it - the are experimenting with so much stuff and can't decide which way to go. Like with the alien artificial solar system. That was extremely interesting. But what did they do. Just drop some people and pick them up a month later while dealing with pregnant stuff - seriously?
That had Space Odyssey potential!
I'm not amused

Indeed!
Why the hell do they have to make it all so damn complicated? I wish this show would turn more into Stargate and less BSG-wannabe...
Also, I don't think that there is one character in this, that I really like... well, perhaps TJ....

The 3 stooges couldn't just be left behind, plz don't dig deeper to try to understand.(i need the chubby geek so i can relate to being geeky and not getting the girl)
The aliens sabotaging dosn't make sense to me, in the episode the link was broken cause the engine failed thus bringing them out of hyperspace, the link was only broken for like half a second, i see NO WAY That aliens would be able to "tap in" to the stone-thingys in that short time frame.
The guy in the chair i liked, getting Vaporized by the ship.. not so cool, but im hoping he'll come back in a daniel-jackson fashion and guide them somehow.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
Massive boobs though...
indeed!!!
and very nice episode.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*

Yep basically they have figured out that they can write stories with huge plot holes so long as there are massive breasts with no bras and hard nipples.
Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
hell yeah! why do you need plot when you've got boobs and nipples

Re: 1x16 - Sabotage *Spoilers for sure*
That's what they use to fill in the plot holes!
The bigger the holes, the bigger the boobs.
