it's one of those shows that.. hm, not that many people saw it, but the ones that did fell in love with it and almost everyone who start to watch it now think "omg why didn't i see this before??"
imho, luther deserves a lot more attention, it's not just another detective show.
It's pretty much what I heard and thought to myself while watching The Dresden Files. Well it got cancelled very quick

I've seen a bit of Luther S01E05 , was intense but pretty great. After i finish Friends( Atm watching season 8) i'm going to try Luther!

BBC: Six episodes go for six weeks (for example).
For three months: nothing.
The suddenly out of fucking nowhere: "we renewed it".
For x months: nothing.
The suddenly out of fucking nowhere: "It premieres in a month/two weeks".

I want to thank you guys for introducing me to Luther. Just watched the six season-one episodes during the weekend and it was fucking brilliant. Great theme song, fantastic acting, smart writing, and Alice is my favorite character of the past year or so. Can't wait for the two two-hour episodes coming sometime this year!

I read somewhere it's supposed to be just 2 two-hour episodes / movies.
