Re: 5x05 Spoilers for sure
i think the amy-thing is progressing far too quickly. which is sad... cause it will lead to her departure sooner... and i like her

Well.. Doctor Who is back to brilliance! These two episodes were wonderful, and it looks like it's going to stay awesome! I got chills in the end of this episode... seriously...

Didn't get that vibe...
To me it seems that a lot is missing (plot wise) between what happened on Season 4 and the movies after it until season 5.
And I still don't really care for the new Doctor , thou Amy is HOT!!! (And I don't fancy redheads)
Re: 5x05 Spoilers for sure
I think Amy/Emily is supposed to be a kind of intro to this new Doctor. He's more 4th and less 5th doctor in a way. More alien, less of a lady's man, more awkward, like an old child, a Peterpannish figure, evidenciated by the end of this last episode and his resolution to take Amy and her fiancée to Venice in the next. It's fun because she thinks him as a bachelorette's party in space and he sees himself more as the Fun uncle who comes to play on Christmas. This is the basis of the tention between them, which is fun.
But, confusions in the universe because of time travel seem to be the motif of this series. Only real scary bit on the whole dalek shabang of ep3 was the "You DO remember the Daleks, don't you"?

Maybe she was on vacation in a remote cabin when they visited?
Planets in the sky, remember? The entire planet had to be towed.

It's already been covered on why she can't remember things...
It's not that she wasn't there, it's that she never remembers experiencing it, or it never happened to her.
yep, exactly. I was just mentioning that because it was eery.
