Topic: 5x04 Time of the angels (actually, S42e04 - right?)

In one word: FINALLY!

Now this is the Steven Moffat I learned to admire in The Empty Child, Silence in the Library and Blink. The fact that a character from Silence comes back with tha baddie from blink then is no surprise. But a two parter, and a tense one in all, O the Joy! Even the official Spoiler they're doing at the end comes as a tension add on.

Let's be sincere here folks, this season started very well, then got a bit warm and fuzzy on the second episode and was a bucket of cold water on the third. The doctor still finds himself a bit unsurefooted, but it at least get's explained by him still being new to his incarnation. I could start to rant philosophically about how the regenerations work (or at least how I would treat them if I was writing the series) but I will not, at least not unprovoked. Anywayfor the first time in this season we really see the doctor being uterly doctorly and Emilia Pond being faillable and human, though she's still brilliant as the Doctor could probably have predicted.

As for the crack in the universe, I already have two working theories, but I am really curious as to what mr. Moffat develops and if he's going to honor me with a third and less probable cause Until then ....

Everybody lives, just this once, everybody lives!

1. As seen in Flesh and Stone, there is no need, though there are hints to one of my ideas and  definite proff that the other one seems to be wrong, thankfully.
2. reviews are not fanfics, though some speulation mey arise, I try always to keep my own fiction to myself. That said, Iºd love the chance to write Doctor Who. smile
Anyone here from BBC looking to hire some brazilian writer to join the team? (Seriously, it's serious).
