Criticism, comments, suggestions, requests? (Page 6 of 8)

I love the app, the only thing I want it to do is be able to alert me maybe once a day(or only days I have programs on). Please let me know if I've just overlooked this feature.

Any thoughts about adding a social sharing option when you mark an episode watched. Would love to update to Twitter when I am watching a show.  Thanks for your hard work!

While I see the benefit in a feature that'll allow for quicker switching between accounts - I doubt it'll ever happen as it'll only be useful to a handful of people. I can't justify the development time for that (and support of that feature later on).

I hope you understand.

what happen to the watch list a to z where you can look up shows from a to z all so check out your ow list and delete from it

I love the app, but there is one little snag that irritates me. When I have marked a show "watched" and want to go back to "Episodes", I naturally press the back button on my phone (don't see one in the app itself), but then I go out of the app totally. I have tried to go to "My Shows" and then back, but I only see the show I have marked as watched. I want a good back button or a way for the generic back button to go back to the "Episodes"-list. Is this possible? Thank you very much. Sofie

Apologies if this has been requested or discussed before.  In the iOS app, it would be handy to have a switch in the episode list within a specific show or even within a specific season for "WATCHED/NOT WATCHED". 

I find myself frequently (especially when cleaning off the DVR) going down the managed list to an episode to see if it is watched, and then backing back out to "Done" and then all the way back down to the unwatched episode list to verify it is there. A deeper switch would sure make this easier.

A little suggestion for the (Android)app.
How about adding a possibility to restrict/delay notifications in certain time frames? Or at least make them silent? Or picking custom notification sound?
Would be rather nice for sleep cycles.
I really like the notifications, so I rather keep them on, but I can't mute the phone completely at night.
So why not have a cake and eat it too?

I've been using the Next-Episode app for iOS for quite a while now... I love to see the evolution of the app... one suggestion - any thought to adding a listing of the cast members for each show and possibly even for each episode?

That's about the only thing missing. It would be great to be able to identify the actors who appear in shows that are recognizable, but not readily identifiable.

Please consider this addition.

By the way, found a little... bug, or is it a featurette? O:-)

Some of my shows aired in the night, for example 3AM of my time. Now it's evening, same day.
Those episodes show up in "recent" tab, as they should, but also in "next" tab, where they should not be anymore. I guess "recents" show up right when they air, but "next" tab is governed by date only, not considering the time?

As most of my shows are from US and land in 1AM-5AM slot in my timezone, the "next" tab is kinda useless to me, having to filter out the first X shows every day :-)

I love the app and wanted to ask if you could making a similar one for movies seeing that the website already supports movies (which means you already have a database for it) it wouldn't be that hard (i don't code apps just an assumption)
