Average about 30 shows/week, could be a lot less and a lot more depending on the time of year and the week.  Like the spring/summer I watch less shows, but just as much TV; backlog.  I'm surprised by the vote actually.

I'm not surprised by the vote. Most people who use this site obviously watch more than 3 shows - otherwise this site would be of no use. And the users of the forum (yes we) are obviosly the heavy users with almost no life and 20+ shows tongue
So a reasonable show count for an average site user should be around 1 show per day. This is still enough for an borderline addiction but with a real life too wink

Re: How many different TV shows in a normal week you watch?

I watch 0 hours TV a year, I download hundreds of hours of series online. Thank you Belgium, for such a crappy HD support, slow pickup of good shows, being on average a year behind and for commercials. Thank you warez scene and Next Episode !

Well I'd say I usually watch anywhere from 12 - 25 new episodes, depending on the week cool

Re: How many different TV shows in a normal week you watch?

Let's see... Usually, most days have 1 new episode of a show I like to watch, with a few days each week having 2 or more shows I like.

As often as not, there's one day of the week with nothing I want to see, all month.

Similarly, some shows drop a whole season worth of episodes on one day; but you asked how many different shows, so those really only count as one show each week...

It looks to me like I've got an average episode count around 6 or 8 per week, sometimes a bit less. Lately, it's mostly less: there's been less & less new stuff airing since the writer's strike began...

Yeah, paging back through old calendar months, it looks like it's been about 6-to-8 shows per week, most weeks.

That's pretty good! I used to wait all week for one new episode of one show, with the rest all reruns &\or filler junk.
