Re: Portal 2
Exactly. And instead of finishing Episode 3 they've decided to release L4D2 which is basically L4D1 with new maps.

Re: Portal 2
Wow, I didn't know that Valve hires its employees to write on this board. I've played both games on my 360 and from a perspective of a typical player I can tell that there are no MAJOR differences. All the new content could be added to L4D1 easily. But then again Valve wouldn't earn so much $$$ from DLC's.

Re: Portal 2
I don't agree at all. I've played both extensively and l4d2 is a hell of a lot more polished. It's NOT just l4d with new maps. But then I expect that kind of comment from console fans!
2020. Meh.

Um, I think I've missed your point... what playing on a console has to do with it? Besides both L4D games were also released for PC and AFAIK both versions are identical (not counting modding). PS. Patches and add-ons are usually released to polish a product. Not full-priced sequels.

Re: Portal 2
Playing a first person shooter on an xbox and a top spec pc are NEVER identical. I really don't want to get sucked in to the whole console/pc debate, but I think it's a silly thing to say that l4d2 is purely l4d with new maps. I know a lot of people who play both games and not one of them has ever said that.
2020. Meh.

Um, duh. Who would expect to have very similiar precision from an Xbox gamepad to a computer mouse? By both versions being identical I meant the content, not how the game is being played. And I don't think that playing an FPS game on a console is a much worse experience. It's just different and you can enjoy it or not. Apparently a lot of people do enjoy it. I still play more FPS games on PC, but I also like playing on a 360 on a sofa and in front of the big screen TV. I don't understand, however, your comment about having a top spec PC. From what I've seen Source engine games look OK at best and even having an expensive computer won't change that. Besides having more visual details shouldn't change how the game feels like, well, unless you're into games only because of the eye candy.

PORTAL.2.XBOX360-CHARGED One of my consoles is, khem, upgraded, but I'll probably wait for the original PC version to taste co-op.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.
