Topic: Season 1

http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/1784/caprica.png

This friday the wait is finally over and we see the pilot on SyFy which could be slightly different from last years. At least that's what I think after watching the

LA Times Trailer

Re: Season 1

Well the pilot has been online for a year i guess that wasent the final product but it looked pretty finished, maybe they re did the animation, or at least i hope they did. But besides that and some cuts here and there will it be much different? The trailer dosent look too different, it just looks like the pilot plus a little from future episodes to me. Or maybe they added some things but i mean i wouldnt think its much different.

Re: Season 1

It has been far too long since the end of BSG, I have lost interest and moved on now.

Maybe you moved on - but you can still move back wherever you want to smile

Re: Season 1

My question is "All Along The Watchtower"...  How did they hear that song when it wasn't written yet?

And you're still asking how....
That's how: All of it has happened before, and will happen again.
So it was written before, and not once, not twice, but each cycle smile And God only knows how many cycles there were wink

Well, that depends on your point of view wink They believed in Gods in colonies, but toasters believed in one true God, who turns out, was the one behind the scenes wink

That could be true but still - the toasters were made by the humans - which belived in many Gods wink

And did every cycle come to the same conclusions? wink

And yet conclusions are not important, the only thing that mattered was what those Baltar-and-Six-like supposed-angels were saying wink

Re: Season 1

Still - that whole discussion went a little crazy at the very end of BSG - let'shope they keep the spiritual talk to a minimum in Caprica wink

We already have a thread in the forum were this kind of stuff can be discussed tongue

The song was written by Kara's cylon father Daniel millenia ago and was hard wired into human DNA to be resurrected as and when required by the prophets Dylan and Hendrix.

Bullshit.

Ronald D. Moore stated in the podcast for "No Exit" that Daniel is merely a plot device to explain the numbering mistake and to expand on Cavil's character. In response to persistent fan speculation about a possible connection between Daniel and Starbuck (that Daniel was Starbuck's father), Moore states:

"There is no connection between Daniel and Starbuck. That was something that was seized upon by fans on the Internet and then gathered a momentum and a life of its own."

In the enhanced version of 'No Exit", Ronald Moore states that the seventh Cylon model is a springboard for Caprica, the upcoming series. Daniel Graystone is the name for the main character, the creator of the Cylons, played by Eric Stoltz.

Yeah... we already had that bomb detonated because of spiritual reasons wink
Anyway, is the yesterday aired pilot any different from what was released in last summer?

People say that it's the same thing. Haven't watched it, though.

Re: Season 1

In a bigger matter, it's not changed. But a few details, angles are changed. No nudity and better CGI.

Yet still it's worth rewatching.
