Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Investigated and here is what is going on: The '79 original is apparently a TV series available here https://next-episode.net/salems-lot It must've been mistakenly added as a movie on themoviedb (hence it made it in our movies section as well), but it's no longer available on themoviedb (if you click it and click themoviedb link it should show you a 404 page). It's still available in your list even though it's no longer available on themoviedb because our database is different from theirs, but will eventually go away (as no longer existing themoviedb movies are routinely cleaned up). Cheers!

ArniVidar wrote:Hey santah, I don't exactly know where this belongs, but there's some strange behavior going on. When I search in Movies for "salems lot" or "salem's lot", the results only show the '87 sequel, and the '22 remake, but not the '79 original. Yet the movie is in my list, and could be added via IMDB list. But the search just won't find it.
I searched for "lot", the results of which inspired me to post my own nag: Could we please be able to sort results by title or by year?! 61 pages is a lot wasted time.
PS - Also, a bar at the bottom with page numbers to jump to would be par for the course.

Ah! That makes sense, thanks

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
A proper pagination may happen indeed, but unfortunately there appears to be no way to change the sorting of the results that come from themoviedb.com API.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Regarding pending requests at the bottom of https://next-episode.net/request-a-missing-show/? Is there a way for a subscriber to "second" the pending request and sort of bump it up the list? I see 2 shows I've been waiting for in the list, but I also know adding a New Request will usually just be rejected.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
If you try to add the same show which was requested by someone else (and it says 'this show is already requested and will be added') - this automatically bumps it up the list, though you don't see that Cheers

Then prepare for a flurry of...2. Maybe 3. PS - The Bizarre Pet Vets can be removed from the Pending list because you've already added it here: https://next-episode.net/the-bizarre-pet-vets

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Not sure how widespread this is as I don't have very many movies on my watchlist but I'm getting 'released in HD' notifications that seem to be referring to whenever someone strings cam footage together and upscales it into an 'HDTS' on torrent sites, rather than for the actual HD release. Gotten it so far for ant-man 3 and guardians of the galaxy 3. I'm guessing this isn't working as intended?

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
See here the releases the And Man one is based on: https://predb.me/?search=Ant-Man.And.The.Wasp The Guardians of the galaxy 3 one is a false positive, will investigate what happened and prevent it from happening.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Sorting by genre in the movies section appears to have been broken.

Can you show me a screenshot of what's happening? I'm unable to reproduce this ...

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ubhme8uo … 0&dl=0 I've clicked into Movies -> Browse, I select "Science Fiction"(or any other genre) and supposedly it should only show SF movies.. well it doesn't as you can see from the screenshot.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
On your screenshot it looks as if the browse section did not change at all after you selected a genre. Any chance you have JavaScript disabled on the page? If not can you try in another browser and see if it works? Let me know.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
It's correct that it doesn't change after selecting a new genre. I tried a different browser and it works just fine. I checked the browser's setting and it's fine, so I tested other pages with javascript and that works just fine. Any other ideas to what it could be?

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Possibly you have a browser addon/extension that disables javascript per domain? Can you try disabling your addons one by one (and reloading the page each time) to see if one of them causes this? Cheers

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
No extensions. I use Brave and I've used that feature many times before, I have no idea what is causing this.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
Hm, I tested and I cannot reproduce the problem with Brave. Can you try it in another Brave installation on another machine? See if you have some browser specific rules or filters (maybe for adblocking or something).

None of the drop-downs do anything for me in the Movies -> Browse section. Using latest Firefox.

Just FYI, I'm using the latest FF too and all the dropdown menus work just fine for me. {shrug} Then again, I've added next-episode to my trusted sites in Ublock Origin.

Re: Nag-A-Santah Official thread
@Kanga, @ArniVidar - can you please CTRL+F5 so all cache gets refreshed. There were changes recently and your browser doesn't seem to have the latest code.
