I just finished Season 2.... amazing show!!! How the hell can something like this get axed!!!???

It should be noted that the person who 'scooped' it was coming back posts under a false name, has had a vast history of 'scoops' that turned out to be nothing more than attention seeking bs, and the only 'scoop' that this person ever got completely right was saying that T:SCC was cancelled two weeks before the cancellation was officially announced. And anyone looking at Fox's record and the ratings since the Friday night death slot move could have made that guess and stated it as fact, only to see it come true a couple of weeks later.

I'd love this to be true, I'd love to be wrong and not be highly cynical of this whole thing, but seriously, I wouldn't get your hopes up, even remotely. Especially when the company that owns the Terminator franchise rights just filed for bankruptcy, and various writers have confirmed that they have heard nothing about any planned resurrection, and the T:SCC's own showrunner called the rumour "bullshit". There were already efforts made to find the show another home after the Fox cancellation, and no one was interested in taking the show on. Now why that would change after the latest Terminator film turned out to be both a financial and critical disappointment doesn't really make much sense honestly, now does it?

Like I said, hope I'm wrong and a miracle happens, but I wouldn't count on it.

I just watched the last episode of TTSCC, came on here to rant and ask if anyone knew if there was any chance that the show would come back for a 3rd season. I was reading the first post with a huge smile, then i read Sledge's comment. He made me a seriously sad panda

If I ever win the jackpot in the Euro lottery, I promise to all the TTSCC fans out there, some of that dough is financing the 3rd season. And if possible the next 17 aswell. Though they'd definately have to slap a Summer Glau nudescene in there for me.

TV project is said to follow a critical moment from the first “Terminator” film — where the film’s story goes one way, the upcoming television show will take that same moment in a completely different direction. Skydance and Annapurna expect the new “Terminator” TV series and rebooted “Terminator” film franchise to have intersecting narratives, as well.

I hope it won't be as boring as TSCC.

Finally got around to watching TSCC, I'm enraged that it just ends with no conclusion. Not sure from that page if the reboot will be the same charactors/story.

I was hoping there was at least a comic or something to finish off the story, but I guess not.

It's times like this I wish I could go beyond not paying studios/networks anything, and somehow actively steal from them.
