I didn't change anything... I just gave people the option, not to read the spoiler.... So actually, I was protecting peoples freedom to choose.... wink

Re: Harry Potter

what did you do on facebook?

5D, dude, wtf?  wink

In a forum for the 'NEW HARRY POTTER MOVIE", shouldn't we be allowed to openly discuss the "NEW HARRY POTTER MOVIE"?  Is this not a safe place to talk freely about the subject matter?  I shouldn't be the one censored, you should write "Do not discuss plot" on the subject heading, and see how Nightcrow feels about it.  Or is this just payback for that time I said "Tony you backstabbing bastard" and you were mid way through your 24 marathon?  If I haven't apologized a million times yet for that, I'm still sorry buddy.

The name of the forum is just Harry Potter, which means that some pore bastard can enter and unintentionally read that spoiler... and it's a pretty big spoiler, if you have not seen the movie or read the book...
But yes, it's mostly because I remember when I pressed the wrong button and got spoiled by you wink
I have forgiven you for that, by the way... but I still haven't forgotten....

I just put this, as my status:

Spoiler

Dumbledore dies, Snape is the half blood prince

But in swedish, so you guys wouldn't have been affected...

I could have been more evil, and wrote:

Warning! Do not read this unless you've read the 7th book! or if you just don't care...

Spoiler

Snape is not actually evil... he and Dumbledore planned that death long ago.. Dumbledore was sick and were going to die anyway

Re: Harry Potter

dood.. real fans would've read the book already... so quit your bitching about spoilers about a movie thats been a book for over a year and is still better then the movie.

but the movies still pretty good =p

Any thoughts Nivalis?  You get I'm not impatient, but disappointed that after 6 movies revenue is sunk into executive pockets, not production costs?  I'm actually really looking forward to the next two movies!

Well 5D, from what Nightcrow wrote in the opening, it seems fair game to go on a rant without a spoiler alert, and really, it should be his call on the discussion of a thread he started, and poncherello makes a great point that  the whole storyline has been wrapped up already so anything about Harry Potter should be open season by now?  No, not yet?  It's like going into a 24 forum stated 718 and expecting there to be nothing about 24, 718.  What's the point in discussing anything then?

Can we move passed this so we can actually discuss the points I made that you've covered?  Or does everyone have to hide their entries on an entire thread?  That could get really annoying and weird trying to follow.  big_smile  Scrolling through a whole page of blackouts...haha.  lol

Maybe we should let Karen, Blackbox, Santah, and BTM help you decide, like the final five considering giving back resurrection to us lowly skin jobs.  wink (or is that too soon as well)

...on second thought, never mind, it was more fun going off about you utilizing your new found executive power, than discussing that waste of film! Muhoohahaha!  Well done 5D, you're officially more interesting than an entire movie.

I did have the option of making a silent edit i.e, no one would have known that it was me... But I felt like showing of....

But fine.. go ahead, spoil it... but think about this: Now that we have gone off topic, a lot... people who haven't seen the movie nor read the books, might be following this thread. Not because of HP, but because of our discussion... so we might not want to spoil them? wink

Re: Harry Potter

Yeah, had anyone else heard that they are making the last book into 2 movies lol

Way to flog the last remaining scrap of profit from a dead franchise.

And before all the Potter fans gt angry at me referring to it as a dead franchise...relax I mean the series is over so there is only so much more they can do with it.

Okay, I'm gonna jump in here....
First of all.. two movies on the last book! Way to short!

I would love to see a more adult version of the HP-movies, but I'd want them in tv-show format i.e one season (series) per book... first than I think the full potential, that the books hold, could be met....

do you realise how many hours of HP that would be?

Yupp.... wink
Do you know how many hours the 7th book was, on audio book?

11h25m + 11h27m + 1h8m = about 24hrs

...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: Harry Potter

Exactly.... that could probably make a great 13 episode season....

Just add a few words and we're okay....

Since it really isnt spoiling because the books have been out for years and people should know that a Harry Potter thread would contain spoilers and since this is my thread - I allow spoiling - for example...

when I was watching 24 - I made sure to stay away from all the 24 threads - even the ones that weren't tag '[Spoilers]' - Mxy, you should take a leaf out of my book.

If you're still in the middle of a show - DONT READ THE THREADS! smile big_smile

The problem was that I was discussing something in one of the 24 threads, and one day when I came to my computer, I pressed directly in from index to the last post in that thread, without thinking about what it could say...
