Was the last episode that bad? wink (I gave up after episode 2)

well, 15 minutes into the episode I realized how much the show started to bore me. The pilot was very good, but the following episodes weren't enough to keep me interested

Re: Season 1 - first half

The FF plot is starting to get boring, the dyke part - what was the point of it?

The pilot suggested a good sci-fi show, now even Warehouse 13 is more scifi than this.

Spoiler

The pregnant dyke gets shot, the shooter sees that she takes out her weapon.
What a normal person do? He shots the victim again. But nooo, he runs thinking he's Flash.

The the best thing of this ep was The Rolling Stones.

Re: Season 1 - first half

Usually I don't care about this little irrelevant things, but when it slaps me in the face, you just can not respond tongue

And I understand the concept (I mean, I bieleve that's the issue) of parallel universes, the main point "Can we change the future, are our life's written from birth to death or there is no destiny?". But with a good idea you need good making.

I'm not saying that I'm removing it from my watchlist (just a week ago decided not to watch it in HD), just that I'm seeing flaws here.

It's very hard for a show to get removed from my watchlist (The Vampire Diaries, Eastwick, Brothers for example), 'cause I'm not that much of a demanding viewer.

Re: Season 1 - first half

hehe, I used to have all kinds of crap shows in my watch list, I was not very demanding either. But now time is an issue, so it gets slimmer - more like a shortlist.  It hasn't been this short in years

Breaking Bad
Californication
Community
Defying Gravity
Dexter
Entourage
Family Guy
Friday Night Lights (slight chance of removal)
House
How I Met Your Mother
Legend of the Seeker (slight chance of removal)
Mental (medium chance of removal)
Royal Pains (medium chance of removal)
The Big Bang Theory

It's not that I think Flash Forward is truly terrible, just not worthwhile tongue

Re: Season 1 - first half

i agree that the show is getting boring ... but the last episode 1x05 was better than the previous one.
i think the show has a great potential .. but they need more focus on the main issues  like the mosaic board not the soap

it is one of the few shows that kept me thinking after watching an episode ..
even "lost" can't make that happen all the time wink

Re: Season 1 - first half

I liked this episode... they pulled a Heroes (introducing lesbianism into the show) wink That is always a good thing to do... and even if I'm not a fan of "what's her name- Charlies girl on Numb3rs-Raat or something", I to think that the FBI chick is hot smile

Re: Season 1 - first half

I don't get what's boring? the show has been really engaging on a lot of levels. The lesbianism bit doesn't seem to fit especially well, but other than that it's been pretty story-driven. All the other relationships that feature any sort of drama seem to be connected to the plot of the Flash Forward -- and heck, even the lesbian part may play a role too...though lesbians falling in love and being 5 months pregnant at the time of the FF might be a stretch...
...all I can say is that so far, I trust the writers to offer up a pretty good explanation for things.

Re: Season 1 - first half

I think this episode was alot better than the last one. Really liked the ending, but yeah, dont know why the black guy ran away when he could have shot a cppl of times more to be sure.

Re: Season 1 - first half

I liked episode five alot, thought it was cool that the plot gets more intricate. However... don't you think that these FBI guys get into a bit too many high octane, shootouts, all the time?
