Talking about many moons lately
What do you think of the upcoming (11.20.09) movie The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009)?
Looks like a True Blood rip off - or vice versa...

Re: The Twilight Sagai watched the first one... made it all the way through it... wasn't wholly original, but there was just something about it... that said, i will be watching New Moon asap... and i've been told that by saying this i need to "hand in my man card" [i started reading the first book, but it was so badly written i barely got 20 pages in...]... i'm going to eat your brains and gain your memories...

Looks like you have been living under a rock in 2008... The Twilight Saga has been all over the place with the last book coming out last summer and the first movie in the fall. I agree with theConundrumm. The books are very badly written and you can totally tell that the author was writing down some kind of wishful thinking autobiography. But that said, I stayed up the while weekend reading the last book on a .pdf file on my iMac because the book wasn't released in my country until 3 months after the US release date. I'm deeply ashamed but I have to admit that it's a pretty captivating saga. Re: The Twilight Sagai'll let her know... i'm going to eat your brains and gain your memories...

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves. Re: The Twilight SagaCome on D.... the faggot thing might be correct... but I still enjoyed the movie I really like Kristen Stewart so... 8 2009-08-20 10:59:36 (edited by Orlando 2009-08-20 11:00:12)Re: The Twilight SagatheConundrumm wrote:
Apparently it only gets good after 100 pages or so (that's what the missus says) And Daemonius ... I agree But I tend to think of Edward Cullen as a creepy old pedo-bear. How the hell women, especially young ones, can find him attractive I have NFI. Re: The Twilight SagaMxyzptlk wrote:
I liked the ladies, but whenever Twilight is mentioned it's always Edwar Cullen is so dreamy and I love Robert Pattinson Only time one of the women was mentioned was when Ashley Greene shared her boobie pics to us all... The movie was not that good. It reminded me of Lost Boys and The Covenant ...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Re: The Twilight SagaDon't even TRY and diss Lost Boys (well it's open game on the sequel but the original is awesome) Re: The Twilight Sagaok im a guy and i red the first book which was bad except the last third of it. I wanted to give up on the series but then i was lend the audiobooks of part 2 and 3 whcih were great. I refuse to read part 4 but i'm waiting for the audiobook So in case u have given up on twilight coz of the first book try the audiobooks which makes it to an ok series. And True Blood is a rip off but it's still unique and more like the adult tv version of twilight Re: The Twilight SagaIsn't true Blood much older than Twilight? I thought The Sookie Staclhouse books have ben written much earlier. Anyway, I've "obtained" a copy of the 4th audiobook a few days after the book was released over a year ago. Just google it and I'm sure you'll find some d/l links. Re: The Twilight SagaOrlando wrote:
Does Dead until Dark = True Blood? Re: The Twilight SagaJust Seen "Twilight" yesterday i don't think that "New Moon" will be any different I Am The Inevitable Conclusion Of My Past

Yes, roughly. Dead until Dark is a first novel in the series and it was a base for the first season of True Blood. The difference is that while the novel focuses on Sookie and Bill, the tv show introduces much more characters, gives a picture of a whole town really. And second season differs from the second book even more (so I heard). Twilight, both the book and the film, is so boring, pathetic one-dimensional and simple-minded that after watching/reading you want to jump out of the window. Maybe New Moon gets better but I doubt it can get much better. Re: The Twilight Sagaokay guys, leave twilight alone it's girlie girls stuff! and i like it a loooooot! loved the books, like the movie and can't wait for new moon to come out. looking forward to a lot of handsome topless native americans/werewolves. and imo robert pattinson gives an excellent edward! The European/Italian scenes where great tho. And we have a trailer for the upcoming Eclipse And it really is a chick flick - no man can stand this Edward or the whole half naked Chippendales Re: The Twilight Sagawhy? why waste your time?
