Favourite type of coca cola? (Page 1 of 2)

I prefer Pepsi, though I don't know why... It always seems more fizzy!

My sister prefers Pepsi, but I never saw the appeal.  I think the taste of coke (either diet or vanilla) is much nicer.

But then I sometimes think my sister and I are genetically predisposed to like opposite things.  She drinks Pepsi, I drink Coke.  She drinks coffee, I drink tea.  She likes soaps, I like sci-fi.  She likes blue, I like red.  She likes to be in a relationship, I like being single.  She likes to go out, I like to stay in.  She prefers to have her hair up, I prefer mine down...  I could seriously go on.  Sometimes I wonder if we're even related!

Yeap that's right, I actually run a de-fizzing process to remove all the bubbles and drink it flat.

I prefer coke though I do tend to think pepsi has less acidity to it.
There was a pepsi that I really did like in the 90's for a very short period of time called Pepsi Clear though.

And Robcore...yes, 1992 saw the release of the delicious, although caffeine free, Crystal Pepsi.  It was soooo good, I remember drinking at least one 20 oz bottle of it a day.  And I was lucky enough to have won a bottle on Ebay in 2005, a 12 yr old bottle of Crystal Pepsi...still tasted DELICIOUS!!!  Best pop EVER!!!

If coke original was there I would've gone for that.
I kinda lost interest in coke when they changed the formula (somewhere around 1985)
I used to like the feeling of it eating your throat/esophagus out on the way down.
It doesn't do that anymore.

i would prefer Dr pepper , but not available evrywhere here in downunder , so ill guess ill have to stick  to reg coke.

Here in the US it seems like Pepsi tastes best on the west coast while Coke tastes best from the midwest to the east coast. I think it's a freshness issue with the Pepsi. Regardless I like mine diet.
