Topic: The Better Comedy?
Since we have a Big bang theory vs HIMYM thread already, with The Office being involved, I decided to make it a poll out of it. Of course, I had to sneak in Arrested Development. Can't have a "Better comedy" poll without it.

...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: The Better Comedy?
That was probably one of the hardest choice anyone should ever have to make.... went with Barney over Sheldon. Barneys video résumé was to good to ignore

Santah, Shall we place bets for/against AD? You already know my views....

Re: The Better Comedy?
And I thought people on this site liked good TV. I must have been mistaken, since Arrested Development hasn't been voted best comedy. C'mon people, there is no real competition in this poll, if you have seen Arrested Development you know it. And if you haven't, well, then you are to blame for it being canceled. Shame on you!

I have an entirely different opinion and despite the fact that I loved the show I've stopped watching it recently. They're not going anywhere with the mother storyline (other storylines too - for example Barney & Robin's) and also most eps were poorly plotted and boring (the only good thing from this season was Barney's video resume). I think it's all CBS's fault, because they want to have a few more seasons of HIMYM and they're dragging the storylines as much as it's humanly possible. Not a show for me anymore and it seems that Big Bang is heading in the same direction (thank God it's still funny).

They're all great shows, but I laugh a lot more when I watch BBT than any of the others, so it got my vote

Has Big Bang ever had a bigger story arc aside from maybe Penny und Leonard's thing? It basically just one episode after another with some random topic not too closely related to each other and imo it works as such. Ted sure does take a lot of time to find his childrens mother tough

Come on people, Arrested Development is definitely the best comedy out there. It also cannot be compared to the other comedy's on the list. It's a whole different level of humor.

BBT is supposed to work that way, I think. So even if it stays on the air for 10 more years, Leonard & Penny's relationship will probably remain the same. Besides both shows targeted for different audience imo (BBT clearly for a much younger audience and for people who aren't interested in following any major plots because they just want to have fun watching the show). I liked them both, even though I knew that BBT will be a type of show where nothing major happens to the main characters. HIMYM on the other hand has a main storyline and a lot of interesting things have happened in the last >3 years. The main problem is that nothing major hasn't happened after Stella... and even that was cut short in a weird day. Furthermore - it doesn't look like it's going to change soon. I don't like this "new" idea for the show moving slowly with new things in Ted's/Robin's lives and that's why I've stopped watching it.

Re: The Better Comedy?
Just last episode a new woman (forgot her name, since she played literally two roles) was introduced to the show. Making out with Ted and all. Maybe she's the new girl, who knows
