Topic: De Niro vs Pacino
Sorry for the lack of a midweek poll - bad week. But I thought we were due for a vs poll, and with the new De Niro/Pacino movie, Righteous Kill due for release in the UK on Friday I figured we'd have a showdown between the two. So who is your pick between these two acting heavyweights?

Pacino wins every way possible... My favourite role for him is in The Devils Advocate, it's...wait for it...legendary!
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Re: De Niro vs Pacino
For me it's De Niro all the way. Not so much because I love him, but more because I loathe Pacino. I just don't think he has any range. All the characters he plays may have different names, but he plays them all exactly the fucking same!! Loudmouthed and annoying.

I'm with KB, it goes to De Niro for versatility and the uglier face

They're both brilliant. Don't really know if I can rate one over the other - so I just picked one at random... Went with De Niro...

I don't really get peoples obsession with either of them, maybe I have just missed all their defining movies somehow, and yes.... I get them mixed up as well.

Re: De Niro vs Pacino
it really depends what roll they play in, as for Pacino he was the best for scarface , and De Niro for its deer hunter , but my fav is alpacino.

De Niro... great actor but I just don't like him so it has to be Pacino.

if anything i caught Robcore's comment as a point for DeNiro, as Pacino would never have the nerve, or the acting range to pull off such a role...
