Topic: Cop show vs Doc show

Two of the most hates professions, but two of the most popular subjects to watch on TV.  Which is your favourite?

There are certainly no shortage of shows to choose between.  ER vs CSI, Grey's Anatomy vs Law and Order, St. Elsewhere vs LA Law, Scrubs vs Police Squad.

Let the battle commence.

OK, look. Babes in uniforms in both cases. That's all I ask for. But if I got to pick, I'll go for Doc shows.

Don't like doc shows, only house and scrubs,(also don't like operations, except police ones:P), but cop shows are always interesting.

Will have to go with Doc because they are mostly wittier. Also, and that one is really weird, they have more action. Of course there are exceptions in Cop shows as well (Dexter), but i pick House over Monk and Scrubs over CSI.

I chose cops for the mystery that CSI (and it's variations) produce. Even though I like Scrubs. I used to watch ER when it first came but later on it came boring. Never seen House but I am about to. Soon I'll start from the beginning. But for now, go cops!

Both are second choices for me. Can't stand the formula cop shows that have the perpetrator captured and convicted within the hour. That said I did obtain 14 years worth of ER and all of both CSI NY and CSI Miami during the writers strike. I had never watched them before. Then and during the slow summer months I seem to find myself preferring ER to CSI.

House is in a whole separate category for me than other doc shows. A cut above and perhaps my all time favorite non Sci-Fi show.

tough call on this one... I do enjoy all the law and orders and CSI... but Scrubs and House take the cake in my mind... had the other option been like cops and criminals, than shows like Prison Break would fall into that category (unless you would already condsider prison break a "cop" show...)

I do like Life, the first season was pretty good last year. I don't really watch either except that show (unless Spooks counts) so I voted Cops...

EDIT: Upon seeing my post I will say Green Wing is very very good. But I still stand by my vote.
