Topic: As a person who never watched an episode of it ...

Can you tell me what is it like?
I've read somewhere that it was similar to Scrubs, but worse?

Nah i wouldn't compare it to "scrubs", since "Grey's Anatomy" isn't a sitcom but since it's also about medical interns in a hospital it's bound to have some similarities.

This doesn't mean that it isn't funny at all, which it actually often is but focuses more on the characters and their story whcih makes it appealing for me anyway.

Worth to give it a try.

Nah, it's more like ER - just not in an Emergency Room but in the surgical part of a hospital [Seattle Grace]. I would recommend watching just the pilot and you'll see if you like it or not. I got hooked immediately after watching the first episode.

So it's more like House? 'Cause I don't really like ER, and I love House, and if it has anything similar to it I'd try it... or let Santah try it and he'll tell me if it's good big_smile

I recently started watching this show and kinda got hooked up immediately. I've never watched House, hate ER and love Scrubs.
And now I love Grey's Anatomy smile

Re: As a person who never watched an episode of it ...

I loved reading these posts about all the medical shows <g>
As a fan of Any Show That Takes Place In a Hospital Where the Patients Are Still Alive (which lets out CSI, etc) I would have described it as a cross between Scrubs and Ally McBeal. I seriously haven't loved a show this much *since* Ally McBeal, even though it took me 11 episodes to get there. (and even though I was hooked on House when it premiered)

I still have House in my top 5, along with with Scrubs, whenever NBC gets around to it, and Grey's . I still watch ER but I don't care about it as much as I used to, and I didn't ever care about it as much as I loved Chicago Hope, before David E Kelley left it. (even if it took about 6 eps to grow on me)

One thing though -- I went back, recently, to watch my Ally tapes, and Billy is far less of a jerk than Derek. In fact, he's fairly noble.

Love the site so far. Only been here a couple of days. Great idea!

I watch ER, House, Grey's and Scrubs and like them all. None are alike each other.
