Topic: Heroes: Origins

NBC declined comment, but "Heroes: Origins" is not going to get its six-episode run, which was expected to start as early as late April. While the network hasn't officially canceled the spinoff, producers of the series have been given no indication of when it might get a spot on the schedule.

"Origins" had been highly touted as a midseason addition since NBC's upfront in May, when then-entertainment president Kevin Reilly envisioned spelling "Heroes" when it took a late-season hiatus. The network had been promoting "Origins" well in advance of its premiere, noting the enlistment of such top directors as Kevin Smith and Eli Roth to write and direct select episodes.

However, it is also possible that NBC, now under the creative direction of Ben Silverman, may have seen its enthusiasm diminish for an expansion of the "Heroes" franchise given a pronounced ratings drop-off in recent weeks for the flagship series.

..oh well, I guess it would have sucked anyway.  Heroes has been pretty boring recently.

What is this "Heroes: Going Postal"?

Re: Heroes: Origins

the problem with heroes is that there is no clear goal. its not going interest anyone outside the people that like superheroes. and nobody is really interested in any of the mystery the show sets up because it all takes place in a universe where anything is possible and therefore the conclusion can be anything imaginable and not that interesting because of it.

It's a small season break filler. A few webisodes clips which tell a small (few minutes) story about one 'hero' with the 'sound boost' ability, which was later used in 3x01.

All in all nothing special - meh.

Re: Heroes: Origins

Yeah Heroes has really lost its direction.

Season 1 was awesome, it had a clear storyline "save the cheerleader, save the world".

Season 2 started and they all seemed to forget they had powers.

Season 3 has been better but the whole "Hiro or Peter jump forward in time and see the end of the world and come back to change it" is old already. Didn't they do that already??

Yeah, but if you can go to the future to see yourself, then it is the best way to see whats future brings, so i don't mind if they will use this method every single time. Because i believe it's the best one there is. Plus future episodes are always really cool big_smile

PS. They also use painting and dreaming the future.
Are there any better thing to know that world needs to be saved, if you got thous three things.
