Technically it isn't. The episode list given here corresponds with the original episode air dates. However, this was not the order in which the producers had intended for them to be broadcast, so when the DVD box set was released they were put into the correct order. That is also why they have three episodes listed as "unknown" - those episodes never actually aired.

congratulations on beeing "technically right", but it is still wrong according to the creators.

Dates on NE are airdates, not production dates. And unless you can change the source I don't think they will change.

then i suggest that the episode listing on the main page contains a alternative viewing order for situations like this.
new fans who are recomended the show from this page should be made aware of the fact that the episodes are in the wrong viewing order.
the airdates are relevant only on active shows anyway.

I probably watch the series then the film every few years, either introducing it to someone who hasn't seen them yet or just re-watching for myself. So good.

only becuase there is a lack of decent current shows I am going back to the old ones. I have also been watching the Buffy Vampire series. There is not much like that today!
