Topic: A more helpful Watchlist

Could you update the Watchlist on the Lefthand side of the front page by colour coding the shows "showing status"

By "Showing Status" I mean something like...

Yellow - Airing at the moment (with e.g. a week either side of season so it shows when just about to / just finished airing)

Green - Has an airdate in the future (> 1 wk, optionally < some user setting in the future - e.g. next 1/3/12 months)

Blue - Is showing in the future but airdate is unknown ATM (A returning series with no currently known airdate)

Gray - Finished airing (as is currently the case)

Some/All functionality could be a subscriber perk?

For example, if this was done, at time of writing For All Mankind would be Yellow, Silo would be Green and Foundation would be Blue. But when Foundation gets an air date it would go Green so we'd know it was coming up.

Using this system most shows would be Blue with only active / upcoming in brighter colours

We kinda already have this, though not color coded - but you get the same functionality out of it.

Go to your homepage settings here:

https://next-episode.net/settings

and turn on these to see what happens:

Show dates in watchlist
Sort watchlist by dates / countdown
Show countdown

Cheers!

Countdown is the closest but doesn't always work e.g. "criminal record" is currently airing (on today) but has no countdown

Still, better than I had

When it's sorted by date is more intuitive (the shows airing today don't have the 0 countdown, but they're on top so it's obvious).

I've now added the 0 so those can be distinct from the shows we don't have a next episode info for (when not sorted by date).

I find alpha sort much nicer, date sort looks like a random list. The (0) is better though
