Apart from the horrible title of the show, I think it has some potential. Yeah it started off slowly but on the other hand I think it's very well written and the acting + characters are also pretty good. What I don't like about the show is that there are almost too many characters with a sad & tragic background. I really hope at least one other member of the task force brings a more positive vibe to the show. Almost didn't recognize Emilia Jones (from CODA) as Maeve

Yea, its quite the collection of flawed characters. Its hard to guess which direction this show is going. Could get real interesting or could fall on its face.

I tried - but after about 75% of the first episode I saw this as time in my life I'd never get back. Just zero entertainment value... care zero for the characters... Once they introduced the rest of the team: Gawd no!

Episode 2 was great, really liking this.

I just watched the ep 1 on Freecine online. On a scale of 10, I’d give it a 7. Pretty decent for killing time.

Yeah watched first ep but too bleak and miserable for me. The start of the 2nd ep with ▼Spoiler the little orphaned boy rescued from the shot-up house ffs dont even want to know where that is going

I am going to reserve final judgement until the series ends, but it has exceeded my expectations so far.

1x7, season/ show finale: I liked it, a good conclusion. I rate the show 8/10 and am okay with it being over. (As a mini-series, that's all I expected, and if they surprise us with another season, then that's that. )

I missed the "Mini-Series" part about the show...I hate that word

Season final was good, most of the story threads had a proper ending. Mark Ruffalo really surprised me here. I knew he was a decent actor but his performance here was great.
But that can also be said for everyone else on the cast, good performances all around. I especially liked
▼Spoiler that Brandis left Maeve the money and his statement at the court hearing.
If I had one criticism it would be
▼Spoiler the Grasso story.
Yeah he saved Maeve but he still was a double agent for the biker gang which resulted in many crimes and the death of a fellow law enforcement agent. I would've also liked to see the legal consequences to his actions.
This show could've easily been part of the Sons of Anarchy franchise, just from the perspective of the law.

... it's pretty dark throughout, cast is good... storyline somewhat weak
... probably will give it another season should there be one

+1 Had it been, probably would have only needed only 2-3 episodes to fulfill that chapter.
