Not sure about this one, predicable story but very slow. I will give it one more episode before deciding whether to continue with it.

Re: Earth AbidesEpisode 1 didn't impress me at all. If this is supposed to be a "realistic" depiction of a "virulence sweeping the globe" than we all know from recent experiences that this is not how it works. That being said, Alexander Ludwig does a good job here. Shows that deserved more runtime:

Re: Earth AbidesI'm sure we've all kind of saw this series before and, on occasion it's been done rather well, say with the 1970's series Survivors... though the 2008 Survivors remake had its own unique flavor. And heck, I rather enjoyed Jeremiah. In other words, I'm here for this premise! Annnnd so far, this series seems to have a different focus than such series as I've mentioned.
