Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
First series was excellent, but this series is dragging everything out, a bit like 'Lost', and the X-Files. In fact, I got so bored waiting for something interesting to happen, I went on Wikipedia to find out what it's all about. I was so dissapointed. Where are the aliens ffs?

Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
Wooooooow, what a finale! Additional info (spoilers!): Breaking Down the Shocking Ending of Silo Season 2: https://time.com/7206478/silo-season-2- … explained/ Silo will return for seasons 3 and 4, with the fourth season planned as the series finale: https://tribune.com.pk/story/2522694/si … -spin-offs Although Silo will conclude with Season 4, the potential for a spin-off remains. Howey’s new trilogy could inspire an extension of the franchise, introducing fresh characters and conflicts, as suggested by the author’s vision.

Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
2x01 to 2x08 = So boring. So wrong. 2x09 = Interesting twist. 2x10 = Not in the book. Makes no sense. Not the ending of Wool at all. ...what are they doing with this show??? Wizard, can you share some theories, is this that fan fic you were talking about?

Made it great? I haven't (and won't) read the books, I just enjoy what we have here.

Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
@Lighton - What gets tedious and loses the audience is when they have more inciting incidents and mysteries than resolutions and answers, and don't pace the show with enough up beats to match the down beats like 201-208, or fail to develop characters to make the journey worth the watch. A lot of people checked out of Silo in season 2, look no further than this forum. ...we stuck with it, yay! ...meh...

Not a clue. It's in none of the books I have read. They have gone way off script

Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
I recently finished watching Season 2 of "The Silo" and felt it ended the way it should have begun, where Juliette gets back to her Silo to educate her people about what is really going on. It seemed like the writers wasted the entire season on silly silo politics and Juliette getting bogged down with the negativity of the new people she meets in the new Silo. The writers could have just as easily written the new characters as being cooperative and willing to explore the world outside or work to get food production back on track to support more people. This plotline would have been inspirational and uplifting. Instead, except for the last episode, the entire season was negative. What a waste of a potentially exciting story line.

Re: Silo [Drama, Sci-Fi]
Silo season 3 does not yet have a release date but we're guessing it could be released in mid-2026. That's based on the gap between seasons 1 and 2 being released, which was a year and six months. If this timeline continues, we'll be looking at around May 2026 for season 3. In December 2024, Apple TV+ officially confirmed that Silo had been renewed for seasons 3 and 4.

▼Spoiler It's not safe outside (according to the books) because there are nano-bots that will kill you. The reason why Juliette lived is because she had a better protected suit.
