Haha, we got 2 normal episodes and here we go, in the third the mandatory gay shit big_smile big_smile big_smile Turned off and removed from the watchlist, miss me with that trash.

P.S. IMDb reviews also are epic, such fail big_smile Also suddenly lost all interest in that game or more precisely paying them even one cent.

Wow, tough crowd. 1st episode, rooting it. Grim and grisly. More post-apocalyptic zombies? Always a sucker for that scene

The heroes poor, poor choice of rainwear was a wee bit annoying though. Soaked to the skin with no vitamins or medicine? You haven't lasted 20 years by gallivanting about the streets like that now have you. PLOT HOLE.

btw, merc, you should give it another try, turns out this is your kind of show with a positive/fun story how men help each other in a time of need, provide for each other, play some piano and sing, maybe share a kiss or two big_smile For a second you can even forget that you are watching zombies apocalypse TV series.

Yeah, this was awful garbage. I fast forwarded through it now when you mentioned it, and it seems it was not just a little quick gay scene either but rather most of the whole episode focusing on a sidestory about gay stuff which has nothing at all to do with the actual story or main characters of the show. That is absolutely insane. A whole episode of filler nonsense for the sole purpose to cram in the gay agenda. I am out as well.

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

They will keep pushing their messaging while people will keep watching/paying. So, a very simple solution, don't watch and rate 2-5 on IMDb on your way out. I already had suspicions that they will do it, now will watch such sus shows when almost all S01 will be out, to not waste time even on 2 eps.

I very nearly dropped the series when I saw the ep 3 runtime. Glad I didn't. It was a strong episode.

only if there are trans-zombies. gay zombies, gay trans zombies... Seems like I made the right decision after all to delete

Are you crazy? Show some LGHDTV+ zombie and you will be instantly canceled, they are reserved for good characters. Have you seen some gay murderer, rapist or some let's say evil BLM activist in any series? I have not. Because there are rules what kind of message(s) should be pushed.

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

A little bit of tender gay love and some right-leaning folks turn into (anti-)liberal snowflakes? big_smile

1x3 wasn't what I expected (since I didn't know that the game told a story about these two), but I enjoyed watching it. smile Great acting!

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

I'm solid center leaning, don't care about both left and right and all flavors of other idiots. And fuck them and their tender love, don't care, will not start to care - exact opposite, with every case of this circus I care less and less about their "struggles", they beg to be discriminated. What these clowns have imagined? Will add 30 min gay segment in a huge budget show and will save the word? That's like a definition of stupid. They deserve to be ridiculed exact same way is ridiculed the opposite ditch for their clownade of anti abortion fights etc. Only difference is that they don't shove it in my face, but these tender ones do. And extra criminal case is to do with shows like this - want to do it, fine, start with it in the first 5 min., so that who don't want to eat one more portion of their stink placement, turn it off and don't wait till the 3rd episode to do it. Or even better - in trailer show that Nick Offerman in this show is desperate for a dick and have your 3% population orientated show. But, nope, then there won't be any money, right? smile

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

Well, I tried to have an open mind and pretend it's all good, but in the end of the day gay romance isn't my cup of tea.

Keep shoving all your agendas down my bloody throat and I will keep pushing them out my rear end!!!!!!!!

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

Wow, did not expect to be hit with that. Made the first 10 minutes of Up feel like a walk in the park big_smile

Haven't played the games myself and not usually a fan of zombie stuff, but will stick with this for a little while.

The real (not fantasy) data says that it's nobodies except themselves (something 0.x-2% of population) cup of tea: https://www.pornhub.com/insights/2022-year-in-review - this data literally shows that there are more incels than gays, which means that they are discriminated by underrepresentation #incelshaverightstoo. Tho need to ask them, maybe they actually are happy that LGHDTV+ is drawing fire on itself.

And approx 10k times less in a zombies show. I minutes before the piano lessons was thinking about that switchblades are really poor choice of knife to use to penetrate skulls, since will easy bend the locking mechanism and it won't open anymore.

There's more than one? But I mean the Pixar animation showing Carls' life at the beginning. It wasn't all sad, but it sure was emotional.

That might be, but it's a weird argument: gays are born gay (not always realizing it right away though, and contrary to what Fox News tries to tell folks), but incels (at least most of them) caused their situation themselves.

That being said, I look forward to more incels in TV shows and movies. Since they are so good at playing victim, they would be perfect in anything with zombies. cool

I was asking because I couldn't make the connection. smile So you find this show very emotional? (Just wanting to make sure I understand.)

Well, at least this episode was like that. The previous two didn't really get on that level for me. But despite being mostly a side story, it managed to tie together so much for the main characters while also being a really nicely done and somewhat surprising episode to find in a zombie apocalypse show.

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

I don't really get the issue.  In the game it's hinted at that Frank and Bill are gay, and this tells their backstory.

They're gay, and they kiss, so what for God's sake? It's not as if it's 75 minutes are hardcore gay porn.  I was hoping some of us here were mature enough to understand that, but I guess not.  I liked the episode personally, but then I'm not 12.  I didn't sit there sniggering at it and I wasn't disgusted, infuriated, appalled.

For the people's sake that are up in arms about this, I hope they don't make a TV show of Part Two, they won't like that one bit!

2020.  Meh.

Would you have done the same if it was two hot women in a gay relationship? Just wondering.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of "lovey-dovey" stuff, gay or otherwise, in the TV I watch, but that was really well done and acted.

Maturity does seem to be lacking unfortunately.

Re: The Last of Us 1x3 - gay couple discussion thread

Isnt it just a case of what you like to see? Why is it immature if you find homo erotic romance repulsive to watch?

Sounds like one must have done some reflecting to conclude they find it repulsive.

People should watch what they like, regardless of what other people think. If gay romance if your jam, go for it, no judgment from me at least.

Not sure who you're answering but, personally, I'd rather not have romance in non-romance TV programmes I watch, but if it is there, I'm neither "repulsed" if it's a gay relationship, nor is it "my jam" either; it is what it is. So long as it doesn't become a major part of the series I can "move on" once it's over.
