Gen V is set at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, America's only college exclusively for young adult superheroes run by Vought International, and it explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. It's part college show, part Hunger Games - with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.

Is there space for another sup show? It is the conflict between sups and non sups that made The Boys special. Other wise just another super hero show?

There are quite a few super shows cycling off, none of which are anywhere near the quality of the Boys. So if this one is in its ballpark it's welcome.

well just watched eps1 and looks like being a good show but in some ways a bit tame as there will be no vulgar expletive deleted Butcher  or the narcissistic Homelander. By the way the black girl comes from The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina( Roz)  and also the curly headed black guy ( Ambrose Spelman).

Also I can't imagine anything worse than having back hair that's immune to your flame powers

I've been really hoping for a super strong hair hero that had issues cutting their hair lol. Just cause it would be funny.

This show is a bit more of a sober and dark/horror look at the underbelly of Vought. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I enjoyed 1x2 and 1x3 a bit less than 1x1, but I still like the show. An interesting exploration of great and 'lesser' superpowers in a young-adult context.
