Amber Chesborough, a brilliant young scientist, is the emotional center of a small American family. When she goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother and her husband - two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts - struggle to find her in a drama set against the backdrop of a secret war.

1x1: some questionable choices regarding introduction of characters and choice of music, but the acting was solid and the story good enough for me to continue watching.

7/10 so far.

1x3: I still prefer the https://next-episode.net/narcos storytelling, but they know how to build up tension when needed! smile

I just couldn't do it. I was fed up already from the wedding then "you're my north star." "like a navigation point? like a gps?" glad to knock one off the queue quickly big_smile

I did not even bother to listen to those dialogs, it was clear that there will be a cringe and nothing of value will be lost fast forwarding over them big_smile

Got till E04 out of curiosity how bad it will turn out, I think I have seen enough of this, bye big_smile

I don't know about you. But this is dragging on and on and on. I have dropped shows for less.

I dropped TWD when that little kid was missing.
I dropped General Hospital when it was over 6 months that Luke was searching for his Laura.

They could have done wonders with this show. But this molasses in winter routine is not doing it for me.

True! sad

But I made it half way through the season and won't drop it now. I really enjoy parts of the show, enough to 'suffer' through the (lower quality) rest. cool

Agreed. Parts of the show are terrific. But the speed of the story is slower than molasses in winter.

Hehe, yeah... smile I watched and liked 1x6. It only suffers from that issue to a small degree.

I have no idea how hard it is to copy a winning concept (pace-wise), but they clearly didn't copy something great like https://next-episode.net/narcos... wink I just want to know if the skill was missing or if it was done intentionally (why!??!). cool

Wow, 1x9 was really good! Suspense for most of the episode, solid action.
