A man finds himself at war with a bee while housesitting a luxurious mansion. Who will win, and what irreparable damage will be done in the process?

The trailer looks like this could be a fun show! I'm glad Rowan Atkinson isn't just enjoying his $150 million net worth on a beach or yacht somewhere, but producing something new instead (or... also? cool). smile

Psst...
Has anyone else noticed that Ring-Tailed Lemurs look like Rowan Atkinson?

I'm looking foward to this. Thanks for turning me onto it!

American kids learn the mnemonic HOMES for the Great Lakes. By Executive Order it's now SHAME.
Bravo.

You're welcome. Initial user ratings look very promising!

I thought some of it was funny, but I'm no Mr Bean fan, and I felt it slipped into that sometimes.

Glad the episodes were very short, any longer and I would have switched off.

2020.  Meh.

Some of the bits fell flat but the brilliant bits made up for it.

Especially the times he double-crosses the bee

I'm old, I can remember when Rowan Atkinson was actually  funny.

Not the Nine O'Clock News, The Secret Policeman's Ball and the fantastic Blackadder.

I loved Black Adder, it was pretty much a downhill run for him since then imo.

Really REALLY like nonsense and British humor and weird humor and dry/deadpan humor - nothing helped here, dropped it

... mostly more annoying than funny, besides some really good rare seconds

Rowan Atkinson reminds me a lot of Peter Sellers. I despised his Clouseau character,  but I thought that everything else he did was brilliant. Similarly,  I hate Mr. Bean, but love Atkinson's other stuff. I think if you were a fan of Mr. Bean you would likely enjoy Man vs Bee.

I really like Peter Sellers as Clouseau, he is brilliant most of the time, there are scenes i do not get tired of watching for over 40 years now... no-one ever got close to copying him like that, just thinking about it makes me chuckle big_smile
... i think there were some other roles i liked

Atkinson has some great moments, also in Mr.Bean - but he does quantity, so you watch 10min with 30 jokes to experience the 1min with the 1-3 good jokes - so it is a bit tiresome, but Atkinson has one of the best dry/slapstick humor since Laurel & Hardy big_smile ... so i like him, but you really have to search hard for all his iconic moments

No. I just thought that Mr. Bean and Man vs Bee were kind OS similar in style.
