Tried to watch first episode of this, and it bored my socks off.

Then I saw how highly it was rated here, and on reddit, so I watched the last episode. It was just as I expected. All been done before, but better. Next!

Been done better before?  OK, where, when, what show?

2020.  Meh.

I may have commented on this before, if so I beg forgiveness, but I lost interest in this quite some time ago, to the point that I just check out the Last episode of each series to confirm that NOTHING has actually hapenned (been revealed). smile

Imagine if you did that with every show.

Friends - Ok, so it's just these 5 again (and Gunther) sat in a cafe, nothings changed.

X-Files -  wow, it's these 2 again, every bloody episode... chasing aliens or something as usual.

My point is, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
I get some people don't have the patience for slow burning shows like this, but I do, and so do a lot of others.

jimslim: Many people liking this show doesn't mean you also have to like it. And you not liking it doesn't mean it's not a good show. smile Just accept that you don't like it and find shows that you like (more).

Re: Severance (2022) (Adam Scott, Chr. Walken, Patricia Arquette)

2x1. Good season start! smile

Spoiler

Mark is shown a Kier newspaper article. When you start with "published since 1893" and add the "51,903" volumes (top left), you end up (assuming one volume for every day of the week) with a current date in 2035 or 2036! yikes

That doesn't fit what we've seen of the outside world so far, so I wonder what's going on... My guess: They used a fake article to calm things down inside, and just added random stuff (including the implied current date) because they can! cool

Thoughts? I've googled this but couldn't find anyone mentioning this anywhere.

It's an interesting detail.

Re: Severance (2022) (Adam Scott, Chr. Walken, Patricia Arquette)

2x1 - First thought I had, "When is this, they look older?"  Either production schedules of current shows take so many years to complete that the actors just literally look older, lolz, or there's been some temporal anomaly.  Not as exciting as I was hoping it was going to be.
