That is some of the total b.s. that really irks me about SNW: They just can't get (or bother with getting) any level of basic science right

I'm even happy to put all that aside and just watch the episode.  Basically enjoyable even if it didn't in any way *feel* like a Star Trek episode which is weird all things considered for its content. But I thought the casting for Kor was horrible.  They could have gotten a closer looking actor.  In fact, with today's tech they could have CGI'd a younger Kor on to an actor: That would have been slick a.f. and elevated this episode.  Missed opportunity

I sure hope the puppet episode is better. But of course it is another transporter accident. Surprised they have not pulled a holodeck gone bad episode yet. Or is this the wrong timeline?

So if I'm reading this right, if I like actual Star Trek, I should just skip this episode?

What's the worst that could happen?  You start it and 10 minutes in you say "Oh f. this", and put on something else.

For 40 mins... Put it on when you go to bed.  Its kinda at that level to keep your mind from spinning on real life, but not so much where you actually have to engage your brain.  Might help you fall asleep.

yet its the wrong timeline... dont have them being used outside of a beta test..(which we had 1 episode of)

and i really hope the muppet episode references      pppppiiiiiggggggsssss  iiiinnnn     ssspppaaacccceeeee

e04 was quite disappointing

it was a bit of a journey for spock.
something to give his character some growth
the writing was poor over all.

i really do not understand what direction the show is going in
even crap like academy had a overall direction didn't it?

i would rather this been a puppet episode where spock uses logic and reason
to keep his sanity while the puppet crew worked out its enormous issues.
a reason for spocks never ending devotion to reason. knowing emotions
out of control make humans a puppet to anything that stirs emotions up.

that would have been much better then what we got.

so far i would not buy this season on bluray at a thrift store for $2

at this point..

BRING ON THE AI WRITERS

there was so many good possibilities with e05, someone had to be phoning in the script
to make it this MEH.

i would not want my name in a credit as a writer this episode.. and that is saying something,

who was the actor sitting next to navigation/pilot ??
he looked directly at the camera about 4:45 into the show for a second.
i am surprised they did not reshoot a mistake like that

i now think this episode was made simply so the main cast could have free puppets of themselves.

Going to stick with it. SO I can see Pikes accident and Kirks promotion to captain in the last season.
