Another IS being made, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.  IDK know if this will be better than the current. Guess we will see in 2026.

Looks like its intended for younger audiences.  Maybe not a good sign if the characters are in the mold of Wesley Crusher.

Hmm, I believe I remember a time when multiple Star Trek shows aired along with multiple versions of SG1.

So it has been done in the past. Maybe not successfully, but still done.
