I love that show which is now in its third season. All eps are written extraordinary and the characters are really enjoyable and funny.

I've watched the latest episode, Blink, three times already. So much love!
I think Steven Moffat writes the best episodes of each season (The Empty Child, The Doctor Dances, The Girl in the Fireplace, and Blink).

Yeah, totally agree. Jack Harkness wouldn't be THIS loved if it hadn't been so well-written. Torchwood wouldn't exist.
Blink was so brilliant. Loved the "easter eggs"!! So cool. After seeing this ep, I even go as far as saying Moffat is my new housegod.

I love Russell T Davies, from all the way back when he wrote Dark Season. Queer as Folk, Bob and Rose, The Second Coming - he's a brilliant writer. But... the episodes of Doctor Who that he's written haven't always been my favourites. Like Boom Town, Love & Monsters, and The Runaway Bride. Although he did write Tooth and Claw - that one was bloody brilliant!

He also wrote Doomsday, which a fave of mine..
and btw, what's wrong with The Runaway Bride? I thought it was SO cool. Not as good as Christmas invasion, but still brilliant... remember what the Tardis did? How it flew on the motorway? Way cool!

You seriously have to ask? Moffat is da man! All of his episodes are the highlight of every season. He makes Doctor Who what it needs to be - a time travel show. I am unbelievably psyched that he is taking over as the showrunner.

I wouldn't write him off yet. Maybe your guys' experience was different, but I didn't want Eccleston to go and at the beginning of season 2 thought nobody could replace him, definitely not this emotional, sad-eyed, and more human than alien looking Tennant-guy. Boy was I wrong.
Each Doctor so far has been different and as soon as the show starts being written to the actor's strengths, we always get a fantastic Doctor. Not better, not worse, just different. You might have your preference to which type of Doctor/acting style you like, but that doesn't make the previous (or new) ones less good.
There were a lot of themes Tennant played brilliantly that Eccleston never could, or would have done differently to lesser impact. And Eccleston brought a certain alienness and creepiness to the Doctor that Tennant hasn't managed. Now we might enjoy (and miss) Tennant more than Eccleston just because we got to see him more - and in my opinion the show got continually better as well - but it doesn't mean anything for Matt Smith.
We got a new show runner and a new actor, you can be sure that we will meet a wholly new Doctor, completely separate from the previous incarnations. It's going to be Moffat's and Smith's Doctor and I for one cannot wait. People will want to compare them, but it is pointless, because Matt Smith won't be going in Tennant's footsteps, he'll be going a completely different way ...

yeah i really enjoyed to watch doctor who episodes most interesting in this episodes is acting of all the actor in this show..i agree with you .mind blowing show
