I already added it to my list here yesterday, it just has a wrong date (later in the year).

Re: Infinite (2021) [Sci-Fi, Thriller] (Mark Wahlberg)
With all due respect to PedroPT, I disagree that it is "plain bad". There are some excellent set pieces, car chases and the like, and some interesting ideas. There are also some ridiculous scenes, even in the context of a sci-fi movie. However, if you like some action and Mark Wahlberg and can deal with complete suspension of disbelief, then I think a ranking of between "not bad" and "OK" would be reasonable and perhaps slightly generous.

With an IMDB rating of just 5.4, it it quite bad - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6654210/ratings/ I have seen it too, the idea was good, the trailer looked OK, but overall - nope.

It was fine, certainly better than the most of the TV shows this year. The only unforgivable thing was the line "They won't even hear it when I put 250 grams of lead through the back of your skull". It should be 250 grains, 250 grams are so many bullets that there won't be a skull left, tho even 250gr is one heavy ass bullet that would blow half of his skull off.

On the other hand just remember that Americans don't use grams and probably would not notice that he would have to reload that revolver 4 times to get to the magical 250g number

an american show? thats surprising "they won't even hear it when I put 8.8 ounces of lead through the back of your skull" or "they won't even hear it when I put 1/2 a pound of lead through the back of your skull" sounds absurd

A solid 5/10, and I loved it. I'd want to watch a series of movies based on Infinite. So much fun.

Interesting... For me, 5/10 means "(only) very average, would not really recommend"...

Ya, lolz, even if the production and execution of Infinite is a D- (I think Foundation has better production value, seriously), the story of Infinite though, was so cool, I'd like to see it expanded into a lot of movies; I liked it way more than Dune. Infinite is a 5/10, that I love. Dune is a masterclass in production value, 8.5/10 I don't give a shit about, and would never recommend. I'm being fair to the quality of the production crew that has nothing to do with the story, but do the best they can to bring it to life, and Dune is clearly way better, so is Foundation, it's just the story of Infinite, I could keep watching for years, it's fun escapism in it's own right.
