I've enjoyed watching the trailer when it came out and decided to check out Hacks. 1x1 did not disappoint! smile This show stays on my list.

I just found out (tho it's not like it's a secret) that Hannah Einbinder [Ava] is the daughter of Laraine Newman, one of the original SNL cast members. How wild!?

Though, once again a nepobaby gets the breaks... I recently read that there really haven't been any new directors in Hollywood, who aren't related to someone in the industry, for the last 10 yrs or more. Annnnnd some of us wonder why most 'new' things coming from Hollyweird so often feel much the same as everything else.

Its become a very negative nasty humour show. Will watch season 4 but not if there is a season 5 - the show should end at 4 the funny has left.

i am still loving this show for the most part.  wokeness that is not in your face.
serious issues, not in your face. no preaching and plenty of comady. and quite a few bombs also...

the first 2 seasons were very good, except for some of the side stories were a little to ruff for a mainly teen to adult comady.
most everything is believable with no outlandish over the top story lines.

the people are relatable in multiple multilevel ways.

did i mention no goddam non stop preaching ???

yes its a little to the left overall, with lots of right side politics also.
( anything not hard to one side is a godsend)
have not seen one sex scene just because the writers had nothing better to offer that day.
( if it does not move the plot forward sex is just not going to save anything anymore, its not 1990's)

they do seem a little lost on where they want the show to go.. switching horses mid season last time...
but time will tell if they can make a  long run of it.


it is also quite re-watchable, which is almost unheard of these days.
