It is the 23rd Century and Earth's space empire exiles its prisoners off-planet. Or at least they did until a crew of fierce and adventurous female crims break free and go on the run, heading... intergalactic. The show follows Ash, a young flight cadet falsely imprisoned before becoming embroiled in an audacious prison break-out. Across their perilous escape through space, this disparate gang of dynamic women fight, fall in love and betray each other. But one thing is for certain, the further they travel from Earth, the closer they come to understanding who they truly are.

This seems to be a British series as the actors all have an UK accident. If you liked Pandora then this is up your street. -  Cell Block H in space

You should atleast watch eps 1 as it is HILARIOUS (unintentionally?)

A black prisoner with dreadlocks stuffs a chip in her neck that allows here to turn her long tresses into octopus arms lol  lol which she uses as weapons to assault people and knock the shit out of them.  It really is very  funny.

I had planned to watch Intergalactic but the initial IMDb ratings/ reviews are so bad that I changed my mind...

its an AWEFUL show. I mean Pandora should win a Bafta or Oscar by comparison.

There is a mad woman who is mad mad crazy all the time and looks it,  who put a castity chip in her daughter - the same one who has the tentacle dreadlocks.

The only redeeming feature is the effects are pretty good. I have never seen a show with so many dead beat dull unattactive actors  in it.

I watched this because Demelza is in it but it was not good and Demelza was not ladylike and proper as i want her to be. She is always pretty though. This show was horribly bad, almost like a childrens show but with graphic adult violence. Also as usual some of that annoying "woke" agenda.

I watched the first episode and it's nowhere near as people are saying it is.  I've honestly got no idea why people are hating it so much.  Yes, the acting isn't great in places, and yes, lots of things haven't been explained yet, but if I only watched shows with Oscar-winning perfomances and where everything about everything is explained in the first episode, I wouldn't watch anything at all.

I'll maybe watch a couple more and see how it goes but it's not the worst show ever made - I've seen far worse.

well its one of those shows that is good as it is so bad with the tentacles-girl and mad in your face mother and the single idiot guy who becomes the love interest of tentacle-girl. itsnot quite  fully woke with lesbians in abundance and inter race relations ships - no trans though.  if it was a spoof then it would be great but the show designers are not that clever.  Reminds me of early Doctor Who without the good stories and atleast one charismatic actor. Its problem is it doesnt know what type of show it is, comedy or serious

Agreed watched 1x01 and diden't hate it. Maybe my expectations were already very low because of the hate but i diden't mind most of the acting, the cgi wasnt bad and while there were not the prettiest people in it the main actress is still not bad looking at all.

Will also likely check out a few more eps and see where it goes.

I have no idea about the character names either, Eleonor is the actress name and Demelza is her character name from the other show Poldark. In this show she plays the crazy lady with a split tongue.
