2x5: Wow, what an episode...
▼Spoiler From confused to hopeful to bleak to totally spaghettified-bleak... to Loki having his Matrix moment! What a ride.
Really enjoyed the CGI effects!
They're really keeping the quality of the show up and are definitely good at misleading the audience and subverting my expectations! Really top notch writing and story so far imo. ▼Spoiler That bleak moment at the end where he gains control of time slipping was so, so cool. Can't wait to see what's next. Loki has the ability to travel to any point in time and space and is apparently immune to the universe ending so, him claiming to be a god was just given some weight.

What an absolute waste of time and money that was. Such a shame, I really like Hiddleston and the actual Loki (from the movies)

Interesting! For me, Loki is one of the best shows this year, and while I really like this Loki, I rather disliked the movie-Loki.

I read a review that suggested that...
▼Spoiler Loki can only control his jumps to where/ when his friends are. That would make his ability a lot less useful - I guess we'll find out...

I have the agree with your above comment this show is one of the best I've seen in a minute. ▼Spoiler For now he can only jump the friends. But we've only seen him try to jump to friends. Does that extend to Thor and Lady Sypha whom he was friends with for thousands of years for instance? Or is it about need, can he jump to an enemy to prevent them from hurting a friend? Will his time slipping ability continue after they repair the loom? I also question some of his earlier jumps where Mobius and the others didn't know him. Was that in the past or future? Cause if it was the past then this has happened before and they're definitely in a loop of some kind. Which is why I think we see all the cracked architecture. It's alluding to all this being broken and reformed multiple times. Especially in that end of time fortress where all the good cracks are. Reminds me of the Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold.

I didn't even want to bring up the names, but yeah, kind of a dead giveaway there. I think we're going to see how it's all looped, and I'm pretty sure Sylvie is going to disrupt it somehow.

Re: Loki [Action, Adventure, Fantasy]
I LOVED the first 10 minutes of the season finale so much that the episode's ending almost felt a bit anticlimactic. And I hope I'm wrong, but it also felt a bit like ending the show/ preparing Loki for his next steps in some upcoming movie.

Sad if its true, Hiddleston was one of the best remaining legacy actors/characters. https://cosmicbook.news/tom-hiddleston- … -or-thor-5

And now we know more: Jonathan Majors, who was one of Hollywood’s fastest-rising stars before facing misdemeanor domestic-violence charges in Manhattan, was found guilty of assault and harassment on Monday for attacking his girlfriend in a car. The six-person jury found that Mr. Majors was not guilty on two other counts that had required prosecutors to show that he had acted with intent — one of assault and one of harassment. But the verdict, which arrived after more than five hours of deliberation over three days, thwarted Mr. Majors’s hopes of salvaging his career by proving his innocence in the March altercation. His future in the film industry, already under threat, is now unclear. [...] Jurors saw a text exchange in which Mr. Majors urged Ms. Jabbari not to seek treatment for a head wound and threatened suicide if she did.

And so is Season 3 of Loki...
If this is true, it was already screwed: But then there is this: Hiddleston: "I, of course, don't know and as we've discussed, there have been thank you notes exchanged between myself, and Kevin Feige, and Louis D'Esposito, and Victoria Alonso... Me saying, 'Thank you so much for the role of a lifetime. I'll always be grateful to you.' And they say, 'Tom, you'll always be part of the family. Come and see us any time...'" Horowitz: "And eight years later still playing." Hiddleston: "Yeah, we just keep saying thank you. And so, with that in mind, but I do feel very proud and satisfied with where we landed, because I think, as a team, we brought it full circle and it is this ultimate journey of redemption." One has to remember this is an actor/character that has died and come back to life multiple times in the super-powered franchise, with Loki Season 2 seemingly setting the Marvel hero up for an exciting future going forward.
So we just don't know yet. Given that this is a show with very creative people, I bet they could replace Jonathan Majors with another actor and explain it logically enough.
