Resident Alien is a dark, twisted and comedic fish-out-of-water story that follows a crash-landed alien named Harry who, after taking on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor, slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth - ultimately asking the question, "Are human beings worth saving?"

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
I added the show some time ago after watching the trailer, and the show got a 8.4/10 IMDb rating with almost 3000 votes! So... I'll watch it in the near future.

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
I'm maybe biased since i like Alan Tudyk from the Firefly days, but I liked this show. It is a strange show it sometimes gives me a teen-series wibe but with old actors, but it's mostly fun and entertaining. There are some minor inconsistencies but i bet they will be fleshed out as the show progress. I'll look forward to the next episodes!

I almost gave up halfway though the first episode, but stuck with it. Glad I did now, I like it.

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
Well, you guys convinced me so I watched the first ep. It was delightful! You've got to actually *watch* it (don't play games on your phone) because Alan Tudyk's expressions are half the fun. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

You're welcome! Yeah, true! Blind people and second screen junkies miss a lot here... A show should get most of your attention - if it doesn't, don't watch it.

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
It got all of my attention! No 2nd, 3rd or 4th screen time whilst watching the first 3 eps back to back. Pretty good overall, some plotting has holes but not enough to really bother me. But it does a bit. Like others say Tudyk is great. Nice to see him again after Firefly and the movie, what was it called, .... thinking... refuse to look it up... Serenity! Liked that too. Anyway after 3 eps I'd grade it a C+. Could get into 2:1 territory could drop.
I don't watch trailers. I never have and I never will. I don't like Tom Cruise, James Cameron and there's lots more to add, give me time I don't like Star Wars or Star Trek or any superhero *hit

Amazing! Alan is hilarious! His inner monologue is so funny. I can't believe this show exists. Funniest show since Bless This Mess. Must see TV. (If quotes are spoilers that need to be hidden, I'll just leave them out, but suffice it to say, the lines are very funny.)

Sweet, I'm not alone in this, it's such a funny show, everyone should be watching Resident Alien. ▼Spoiler I love that the cop was watching George Tsoukalos from Ancient Aliens, embedded jokes like that just add to the amount of laughter.

Best new show to land in a while, Alan is the perfect actor for the role imo, his facial expressions are hilarious.

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
I'm still loving this. *So* many tropes, but Alan Tudyk pulls it off every time. And I hope Shahar's (the little girl) part isn't over! Does anyone else pause to take a closer look at the helpful "do/do not" cards in the intro? And then when a certain character moans to him, "Oh, god, you're gorgeous" or something like that. Seriously, it's the first TV show I've really looked forward to each week for a long time.

Ep 106, Hilarious! ▼Spoiler He drugs her twice! Sarah Conner and the gimble ufo video. We truly get it all in this show! Whatever Tom Paris is doing, keep it up.

Hilarious! ▼Spoiler Also, trying to 'one up' the new doctor over anything and everything, and when it couldn't get more awkward, he dislocates his shoulder in an arm wrestle! Hilarious! This show is so well done!

I agree with you guys, 1x6 was the funniest episode yet! So many funny moments... ▼Spoiler The secret additional murder wall in the closet to hide it from her boss! What an idea!

Genius! Fun fact, there's already a Resident Alien Fandom page and I'm really enjoying the comedy stylings and writing for Deputy Liv Baker. She's so funny!

You didn't recognize the voice of Nathan Fillion? And yeah, this is getting better and better.

Re: Resident Alien [Comedy, Drama, Mystery]
107 - So many funny scenes!
▼Spoiler Wizard, agreed, great voice acting, and I figured that octopus was going to play into the story somehow. Pretending to have a fight with his wife and need some space and they buy it. So funny. Dead Harry belittles him in a dream, then wakes up and dead Harry says "Still dreaming" with a knife in his hand, Hilarious! Looking for work, hits an old lady with a walker in the head with a newspaper! Playing Galaga all night, love the irony, "Die Inferior Species!". The bowling pin bong! Eating chips in the kids bed and peeing himself. The kid yelling "Talk to my lawyer!" lmao. One of the funniest comedies ever made. Had no idea that was Nathan Fillion, even funnier now! Fun Fact, the exterior scenes of the town are all filmed in Ladysmith BC, which is where they filmed the pilot of Eureka! Alan Tudyk should win the Emmy and Golden Globe for acting in a comedy series; it doesn't get any funnier than this, A+, 9.5/10.
