Topic: Fate: The Winx Saga

Follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.

Just watched the first ep, so far not bad, reminds me of Motherland: Fort Salem, not as full metal jacket yet but could get there, when looking at the trailer.

(I linked the full trailer, as on next-episode is only the teaser)

It's a live-action adaptation of Nickelodeon's web cartoon show Winx club and there are some mixed opinions about it at IMDB, those who liked the cartoon version are a bit disappointed about the changes in the adaption and others who dont know the cartoon version liked it, so your mileage might vary.

Re: Fate: The Winx Saga

First episode was ok, if a bit paint-by-numbers. Only 6 eps so I'll keep at it for now. If you're a fan of the supernatural school subgenre you won't find anything new here, but you'll probably enjoy it well enough.

Re: Fate: The Winx Saga

Finished it. It's interesting enough that I'll keep it.

Re: Fate: The Winx Saga

I watched all six eps but only because I'm unemployed and living in full lockdown. 2.5/5 at best for me. Just generally not very good. Mind you as a 40 something I'm not in it's target audience!

I don't watch trailers. I never have and I never will.
I don't like Tom Cruise, James Cameron and there's lots more to add, give me time
I don't like Star Wars or Star Trek or any superhero *hit
