Topic: Little Dorrit

Little Dorrit tells the story of the Dorrit family and the rich array of characters they encounter on their way from rags to riches and back again.

I watched Little Dorrit, a mini-series, in October and it was very enjoyable.  However, I have to say that after watching the whole thing I missed the significance of Little Dorrit in the respect that she was supposed to be somebody tied to the mystery somehow.  If anything, the surprise for me was the revelations surrounding the character played by Matthew Macfadyen.

I think I was probably dozing off the episode that revealed the significance of Amy Dorrit.  I may go back and watch that episode that should have revealed it.  It wouldn't be the first time I started dozing off while watching a program if I'm tired enough.

Overall, it was an enjoyable program and I really like Matthew Macfadyen's character, not just in Little Dorrit but in Ripper Street.  I just like his style and the way he comes across.  He gets treated pretty shabby now and then throughout and he ...absorbs it well and still comes across as quite a classy fellow with good character.
